Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ask the Tropers is for:

This new account seems like a troublemaker-in-waiting. FTR, the page is about the contributors of the moviecodec website (think a Characters.TV Tropes page), so it might need a lookover as well.

Can someone go over this editor's edits? They are editing Mormonism-related articles and some of their edits (those regarding polygamy on UsefulNotes.Mormonism and Kolob on Deity of Human Origin - while Wikipedia says that the latter isn't mentioned in the Book of Mormon, it also describes it as mentioned in the Mormon version of the Book of Abraham) look questionable, but I don't know sufficiently about Mormonism to gauge whether the edits are good or reflect an agenda.

Does changing a wiki link on a work page to point to the wiki of an entirely unrelated work for self-promotion purposes count as vandalism? Because Blocky Cuzco did that on Creatures.
I already fixed it, just wonder if someone needs to talk to them. Their other edits have some newbie/possibly-a-kid issues (an edit just to add additonal Bold Inflation to an already unnecessarily capslocked example, ZC Es, putting examples for a Just for Fun thing on a work page).
edit: I admit though, I probably could have been more polite when I reverted it.

A somewhat minor issue, but colettecocotea changed the page type of JustForFun.Examples Of Myers Briggs Personalities In Stories to "contributor" with no reason - it's not a contributor or contributor-like page.

icanhandleit has gone through several pages randomly changing all the English spellings of Japanese words to what clearly seems to be their personally preferred spellings (for example Uryuu to Uryu or Zanpakutou to Zanpakuto) not due to incorrect spelling. I find it pointless, but not comment-worthy. What brought me here is that buried within all those pointless changes is a systematic changing of Vandenreich to Wandenreich - which, because of the mass editing, is initially hard to spot.
The handle has only existed for a week or two, but has been editing pages other than the Bleach pages. I therefore don't know if it's part of the ban-evading Single-Issue Wonk we periodically get over the Vandenreich/Wandenreich spelling or something that's pointless but innocent.
Edited to add: Actually, it might be innocent, he seems to be changing the ones he's come across, which has left the pages (and sometimes individual examples) an inconsistent mixture of the 'V' and 'W' spellings. Is it okay if I go through the pages changing the spelling to just one standardised spelling? That won't be edit warring, will it?

On 30th Dec, wuggles changed the page image and quote for Creator.Kim Kardashian, citing inappropriateness. Said image and quote did focus on her sex appeal, but I'm bringing it here because it seems to be a unilateral decision.

The trope Obscured Special Effects was launched with only one hat.
OTOH, it looks (to me) already workable as a trope; with enough examples and clear description. So what's the judgement on this?

Dai no Daibouken had the image and caption on the left. I moved them to the right, but the image isn't lining up properly. Could someone tell me where I screwed up.
I had to use the Inspect Element function of Chrome to dig up the image size.
I also have that annoying feeling I'm missing something right in front of my face.

TearJerker.Chuggaaconroy Animal Crossing New Leaf is a mess. It's just one troper (lalalei2001) copying wholesale what they put in Heartwarming.Chuggaaconroy Animal Crossing New Leaf. What should I do though? It's YMMV, so I shouldn't remove things, but it just seems like bad form to have two pages being carbon copies of each other.

Some of the bullets on the Video Games page aren't working correctly, instead showing up as two stars. Is there something wrong with the markup?

In a new instalment of our 'holy shit you can find anything on this wiki' series, we appear to have a poorly-formatted page on The Remnant of a lesbian-separatist BDSM cult.
Thoughts on what to do with it?
openNo Title Anime
(Medium listed as Anime as the page involved is in that medium, although the question itself is medium-neutral)
The question is: Can pages be split based on YMMV tropes?
Specifics: Characters.Detective Conan One Scene Wonders is relatively old; it was first created as a folder within Characters.Detective Conan and later split into a separate article, together with other content, in 2012. While as a Long Runner, Detective Conan has a large amount of One-Scene Wonder examples, OSW is a YMMV trope. So, is it appropriate to keep that page as is, or should I re-organize it, or at least, rename it?

So, I noticed that the main page for the Harvest Moon series is under VideoGame.Harvest Moon, while the first game in the series is under VideoGame.Harvest Moon Original Series, which is... awkward, to say the least. My inclination would be to transfer the main series page to Franchise.Harvest Moon, move the first game in the series to VideoGame.Harvest Moon, and cutlist VideoGame.Harvest Moon Original Series, but I figured I should double-check to make sure that's proper procedure. Yea/nay?

I went to the shout-out page and when exploring around I realized I couldn't find a way to find all the different shout-outs from all the different mediums of a specific thing. Maybe I'm an idiot, but all I could find was a list of all the shout-outs a specific medium had of other things, instead of everything that acts as a shout out to it. So is there a page that lists all the different shouts-out towards a particular medium? If so, out of curiosity, where is it?

CeriCat seems to have a natter/Example Indentation problem. I already natterfied them for their first edit.
