openHow the Tiny Toons Saved Christmas Webcomic
Hello
I found this Tiny Toon Adventures fancomic on Deviant ART.
https://www.deviantart.com/boscoloandrea/gallery/74101564/how-tiny-toons-saved-christmas
I was wondering if it was worthy of a page on TV Tropes.
Yours
open The Sinfest Forum Thread Webcomic
I've sent a few hollers regarding the thread, but I don't know if they got lost or something, so here's something a bit more permanent;
The thread, while very productive in its early life, in its current state has devolved into "Let's insult, bash, and mock the creator like he's actually reading any of this" — which, from what I heard about the guy is actually pretty understandable, but that's all the thread is these days. When someone tries to talk about the actual comic, it immediately derails back into the creator.
It actually kinda worries me since this behavior is incredibly similar to the internet's odd obsession with Chris-Chan, and I'm not the only one who thinks this (side note, the thread regular below that post not only agreed, but their signature is literally "I just came to talk about how horrible Sinfest is.").
Edited by Crossover-Enthusiastopen Should Sinfest get a short term cleanup thread? Webcomic
Sinfest... is a thing. As a page that's been here since 2011, it has loads of problems: ZCEs even when there's a warning against them, using links in place of context, using words like "recent" and "just now" for events that are probably like five years old by now, ect. The subpages are just as bad, special mention going to the mini-forum that is the Headscratchers page and the complaining and ROCEJ-skirting of the YMMV page.
However, this comic has been around for 20 years, and the main page actually has a lot (and I mean a lot) of good examples mixed with the troubled ones. Slogging through the pages alone, especially as someone who does not read the comic, would be maddening.
So, rolling back around to my original question; would it be okay if I created a Short-Term Projects thread for Sinfest, and if so, would other people help out with the effort?
Edited by Crossover-EnthusiastopenHow do I create a Fanon page for a webcomic? Webcomic
I've tried to go to the fanon page and put it in the index but it always came out red. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can you help?
openFixing page gag in Hiimdaisy Webcomic
The gag in the Hiimdaisy page where you click on one of the "Yes" options for the bikini gag doesn't work on the page. Is there a way to fix it?
Edited by snivyTsutarjaopenIndexing a new page Webcomic
I'm trying to index this page for the Coming the the Lavender webcomic. I just indexed it under "amazon chaser" but the page still says it's not indexed. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/ComingToTheLavender
openCharacter Folder Title Webcomic
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/Muted
I'm trying to make a new subfolder and character folder on this page for "Demons. For some reason, you can still see the "[[folder:]] around the name. The character's name is a spoiler so I want it to be hidden. I've tried it both as [[folder:name]] and i've tried is as just [[folder:name]] but the [[folder:]] is still visible. It seems like when I made the other folders for other characters I got the format right, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong for the demons?
openOut-of-date page Webcomic
One of the webcomics I follow has a trope page, and the page is visibly behind the webcomic by several updates. (as in, the comic has a major cast of around ten, and around half of them aren't mentioned at all in the tropes list.) Is there a particular flag to put on such a work? The trope list seems too long to qualify as Works Needing Tropes but I'm also not clear if qualifies as Needs Wiki Magic Love either. I'm only an amateur troper, as you can tell; I've put some more examples on, but if there's a specific way to tag such a work page, I'd like to do it to this work.
Edited by TiberniusopenKaizoku Sentai Power Rangers Kingkaiger (FanFic) is not thriving Webcomic
I have been trying to get this TV Tropes page to my fanfic up and going but I need some sleep as I have been up all night writing
This hyperlink will take you to the Fanfic Page. It may not be a head start since this is my first works page but we have to make it thrive.
openHow do you add special characters to a title? Webcomic
I recently created a page for the webcomic "We Live In An MMO?!" but obviously the question mark and exclamation point aren't included in the title. Despite this I've seen plenty of other works that include them.
How would I go about adjusting this?
openSelf-Pimping Webcomic
Very new account goliberalart has only been making edits pertaining to the webcomic of the same name. Unsure if this is a problem, but it's certainly noticeable.
openAdd the Misadventures of Sonic the Hedgehog? Webcomic
Are we able to make suggestions for new works? If so, do you think add the fan webcomic, The Misadventures of Sonic the Hedgehog by Fallen Angel Cam 7? Fallen Angel Cam 7 himself said that No Context Sonic does the Sonic related stuff.
Edited by AutisticPhantomOtaku620openCross Wink Links Won't Work Webcomic
I'm trying to do cross wink links for The Webcomic Muted. I'm trying to put a link under the abusive parents page, but even though I put the title in like the other entries, it doesnt like to Muted's tv tropes page. What am I missing? https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/AbusiveParents/WebComics
openGirl Genius Webcomic
On the work page of Girl Genius, there was this line in the description:
"Look over the Girl Genius character sheet, or talk about the comic in our discussion forum for Girl Genius."
I removed the link to the character sheet, as it's redundant and I was told they have to be removed; however, what's the deal with the link to the forums? Is that allowed? I'm asking because Girl Genius seems to be very popoular on TV Tropes (over 3000 wicks and Image Source for 36 tropes) so I'm not understanding if that link to the forum is something that kept going past the radar for years, or it was allowed by someone.
openCyanide and Happiness moments pages are full off Zero Context Examples... Webcomic
Its literally nothing but "This" and links. This isnt kosher is it?
openOOTS Shout Out Webcomic
On the ShoutOut.The Order Of The Stick page, Another Guy edited this entry:
- "That's Jack's Fault": Thor says he used to be a ginger until "that damn superhero comic book came out". The strip title is a reference to Jack Kirby, the artist that created Marvel's Thor. The title of the following strip, "The Highfather", continues the Kirby reference — "Highfather" being the leader of the New Gods that he created for DC.
to remove the last sentence, with the edit reason, "No. Odin was always called Highfather. Also, it's a pun on being stoned."
I googled, but could not find, a single reference to Odin being known as the Highfather; every combination of the terms that I tried only brought up references to the DC Comics character Highfather.
I PMed Another Guy about this, asking what reference he had for Odin being known as Highfather and he responded only that it doesn't matter because it's a part of the joke.
I've also started a discussion thread on the page about this, but I'd like more eyes on this and a consensus before adding it back.
openLil Char and the Gang editor has odd grammar Webcomic
So, there's this editor called Dimderi who made two bad edits. I'll link to them, in chronological order, and explain why they're bad.
1.
This is the only thing on the page. It's bad because of its poor grammar; and it's redundant, because we also what WMG pages are used for.
2.
This is bad because it uses poor grammar, is that "check" thing, and is the very first thing that people see when they look at the work page.
They may have made only 2 edits a week ago, on the same day, but should I delete the edits and PM Dimderi?

A few days ago, I posted this query about Lelene019 cutlisting Doodleland Comics because the creator took it down and doesn't want it listed here. It was locked due to being derailed, but the issue wasn't really resolved; after the cut request was declined, Lelene decided to repost the request. I'm going to message them so it can be actually discussed instead of cutlist warring.
