Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

First of all: Thanks for helping to solve the problem and not expecting others to do everything. I appreciate that.
Secondly: Try Pages Needing an Entry Pimp.
Edited by MichaelKatsuroThanks for the response!
The work is question is not, to my understanding, Pages Needing an Entry Pimp. However, that is only because it isn't crosswicked (is that the word?), so it is Pages Needing Wicks (which I think only applies for tropes, so I have not yet added this work to that list). I also noticed now that it is Needs an Index (What're the major indices for webcomics, and where can I find more info on them / how to add them?). At the same time, though, I'm not certain any of those issues seem to be the correct problem I want to flag; The page was mostly appropriate at the time of creation, it's just that several plot developments have since occurred and no updates have been made to the work page to reflect any of them, and since I'm very new to troping, I don't feel qualified to add more than a few examples, so I want to flag it as needing help to the more ambitious / skilled tropers.
Edited by TiberniusUnfortunately there's no tag for a situation like that.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe state of "several plot developments have since occurred and no updates have been made to the work page to reflect any of them" and "several trope pages have been created and no updates have been made to this work page to reflect any of them" is essentially the default for work pages, especially ongoing works. There's a page for Wiki Curator that describes people trying to keep a page updated with new information.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. The major indices for webcomics can be found on Webcomics. For more info on indices in general, see How Indexing Works.
Thank you all for the replies!
I don't intend to curate the page. I added it to some indices that seemed appropriate, and after rereading the Needs Wiki Magic Love examples, I've added it there. (I think Michael was right in that it needs Entry Pimping, and I think it also needs images and better indexing. I've listed it as the first two.)
Edited by TiberniusIn the future when you feel more confident, you can probably go back and expand the page properly. There's no rush to do it now, but I think you could do a good job when you're more comfortable doing it.

One of the webcomics I follow has a trope page, and the page is visibly behind the webcomic by several updates. (as in, the comic has a major cast of around ten, and around half of them aren't mentioned at all in the tropes list.) Is there a particular flag to put on such a work? The trope list seems too long to qualify as Works Needing Tropes but I'm also not clear if qualifies as Needs Wiki Magic Love either. I'm only an amateur troper, as you can tell; I've put some more examples on, but if there's a specific way to tag such a work page, I'd like to do it to this work.
