open Locked Page Glitch Webcomic
Webcomic.A Softer World locked itself when I tried to edit it, I think due to a glitch. Could someone please unlock it?
openSpurious Page Locks Webcomic
Gunnerkrigg Court and Gunnerkrigg Court – Chapter 23 "Terror Castle of the Jupiter Moon Martians" are locked, so it is currently impossible to index the latter page. Actually, it seems as if all of the comic's recap pages, as well as quite literally every other page I've been on over the past day, is inexplicably locked.
If someone could also unlock Star Wars: Forces of Destiny and Star Wars Forces Of Destiny S 1 E 7 The Strangler (no, you did not misread that typo), there's a misspelling I want to fix.
Edited by TurquoiseOwlopen Certain Moments pages locked in Paranatural Webcomic
Although this seems to be more of an issue on my end (i saw a very recent edit on the Awesome subpage), some of the Moments (Heartwarming, etc.) pages for Paranatural are locked. I don't see a reason for these being locked, and I'd like to remove spoiler tags from those areas (as Moments pages are Spoilers Off pages) as well as try to fix some links (links with id=page# redirect the user to the newest page of the comic instead of what the original poster requested, so I've tried to replace them with archived links to make sure they work).
Edited by SeptimusHeapopenQuestion about Creator's Pet Webcomic
On Sister Claire, Tropers/Twiddler insists that a character can't be both a Creator's Pet and a Base-Breaking Character. I've checked the trope pages and I can't find any rule against having a character be both tropes.
Edited by ChubzhacopenDescription/picture size difference Webcomic
Floraverse has a really tall picture and a really short text description. Should we make the picture shorter, make the description longer, or both?
openPossible Edit War? Webcomic
So samiralula01 recently made some changes to the character page for My Dear Cold-Blooded King. These included switching the positions of two character folders and removing everything listed under one of them.
I switched the characters back, to reflect the order of appearance, and added more tropes under the aforementioned folder so that the two characters were even. I genuinely did not want to be edit warring so I removed two of the edits I had previously put there. That being said, I was still worried I was unintentionally going to start something so I tried private messaging them. But it’s been two days and they haven’t responded. What compounds the issue is that they never left a reason for their edits. What should I do?
Edited by SeptimusHeapopenSurvivor Fan Characters: Mysterious page locking? Webcomic
I went to check the Survivor: Fan Characters page today, and I discovered that the YMMV page was locked. I don't see any signs of edit warring in the page history, so I'm admittedly kind of confused as to how or why this happened.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this page is suddenly locked?
Edited by TheFoxopenMaintaining a page of my own work Webcomic
Two months ago, I created a page for my webcomic, SWAP Ensemble . I have been maintaining the page (and the corresponding character page) to the best of my ability, but I would like a fresh set of eyes to find mistakes and remove any creator bias.
Edited by k5972openTo report or not to report, that is the question Webcomic
I heard that the page on Shredded Moose had been cut under the content policy, but there seems to be a page on it now. While I'm not quite familiar with the webcomic, and the page itself looks pretty clean, if the P5 decided it was inappropriate, I feel a little weird about the article being here. Should I report it?
openHow Strict are Source Requirements for Word of God? Webcomic
Another user and I were discussing a possible entry for Word of God for Sleepless Domain, which confirms that two characters are twins. However, the only source either of us had was a comment in the comic's Discord channel. Not something that could be easily pointed to as a source. Would that disqualify it as a source for this entry?
Edited by sgamer82openSomething to do with having multiple namespace Webcomic
Hi, um, never quite did this before but, um, I do have an inquiry of about the Kill la Kill AU page also having the namespace of "Fanfic".
Can a page have two namespaces if tropes for both of those namespaces are covered on the same page?
I mean, I've seen other pages where tropes for both namespaces were covered on the same page (more specifically/commonly, Anime/Manga pages) and I haven't really seen either namespace get cut.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a million for your time.
openOrder of the Stick / Deleted Moment of Awesome Webcomic
So I noticed someone removed an addition I'd made to the Awesome page that went as such:
- Thor appears. We finally get a good look at what a god's natural state is, and he is the size of a frickin kaiju. If you look at his right boot, you can see two barely visible figures on the fur trim of his boot. That's Durkon and Minrah, who had mistaken Thor's leg for a tower and had walked for a good distance on said fur, not realizing where they stood. The gods of this setting are literally a big deal.
The reasons given were:
Shouldn't an Awesome Moment require the character to DO something besides just happening to be large?
I don't want to get into an edit war with this person, but I feel it applies since this is the first time in over 1130 strips that we finally get to see a god in person. And not only that, but the characters we've been following have been walking on them like they were a mountain because that's how big the character is. It's an awesome, dramatic reveal of just how immense the gods are that I think qualifies for inclusion.
So I just want to get the green light to add it back with a tag line stating that it does deserve to be there, or receive confirmation that this moment doesn't really fit. Either way, I put this before all of you.
openWho wrote the "Silver Crisis" Trope page? Webcomic
As the creator of SC, I am impressed to see how accurately someone was able to identify all the tropes I put into the project.
Edited by MegaBlastaopenmaking new namespace? Webcomic
Can someone tell me how to do new namespaces? I've tried, but I can't figure it out. I'm trying to create a pantheon page for Erma, (since she has a spot in the pantheon, but no page). Any help?
Edited by Bluman08openFriendlyHostility link is bad Webcomic
Apparently, it used to link to a webcomic, but currently "friendlyhostility dot com" takes you to a sex shop site. Our page on the comic Friendly Hostility contains this link. Does anyone know if the webcomic still exists, and if so, if we can change the link to the current webcomic page rather than the sex shop?
openorder of the stick ymmv Webcomic
So, Miko Miyazaki's listed as a designated villain. I believe that the example is inaccurate. It clearly misrepresents elements from the story to try and absolve her of responsibility. Most egregiously, it tries to blame Shojo and Roy for not "explaining the situation" and for leaving her out of the loop regarding Shojo's schemes despite the fact that she's clearly gone off the deep end and isn't known to listen to reason, thus giving them plenty of reason not to tell her anything. I think we should delete the example but St Fan said to bring it up here first. So, what do you think?
openFinal Smash Webcomic Webcomic
Article Link: Final Smash!
Troper Orange Kyle 91 apparently has "blanked" the page at the request of the comic author (saying there is proof the creator requested removal of the page which breaks "The Fic May Be Yours, But The Page Is Ours" rule).
I have reverted the blanking and PM'd the troper about the rule and this Ask the Tropers thread, but I figured I should note this occurrence here for the future.
EDIT - Oh I forgot to mention, the comic author apparently has cancelled the comic, but mirrors do exist elsewhere I believe.
Edited by Ngamer01openNew Here and Dumb Webcomic
How can I make a page for a comic I read? I'm really stupid and can't figure out how, sorry!
For Webcomic.Free Spirit 2014, would anyone here know how to fix the link in the Interactive Fiction entry?
