Yeah, it's not possible for a Creator's Pet to also be a Base-Breaking Character and vice versa. The Scrappy is a criteria for Creator's Pet: the majority of the fanbase doesn't like the character. But Base-Breaking Character is a character that is both liked and hated by the fanbase.

On Sister Claire, Tropers/Twiddler insists that a character can't be both a Creator's Pet and a Base-Breaking Character. I've checked the trope pages and I can't find any rule against having a character be both tropes.
