Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I assume it's done not to collide with Film.Fear and Music.Fear (though considering FEAR is custom-titled to F.E.A.R. for all namespaces, it hardly helps). I'd be fine with a move because I usually don't see title to namespace overlaps as a problem, but we should probably get more feedback first.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)The film page could be moved to Fear (1996) and the game page could be F.E.A.R. (2005), but I'm not sure how we'd disambig band pages. Fear (band), I guess? That's how The Other Wiki does it.
Edited by PrimisI think Music.Fear Band would be appropriate. For pages that aren't tied to a specific year (such as with Creator.Steve Mc Queen Director and Creator.Steve Mc Queen Actor), there's a precedent.
Leave the game page where it is to avoid subpage collisions. The page is for the whole game series; F.E.A.R. (2005) or F.E.A.R. 1 would be an appropriate title for the first game in the series if someone wanted to split it. If there's no good way to move the band, just leave it at the current title.
Edited by rjd1922 Keet cleanupI agree.
It's really messy calling it by the full definition of the acronym when the official title is just F.E.A.R.
Edited by CryptidProductions^^ & ^
For the sake of clarity, bear in mind it should be "Fear", not "F.E.A.R." or "FEAR". So the page would be VideoGame.Fear 1 or VideoGame.Fear 2005, and then the custom title will make it into F.E.A.R.
Okay, I'm going to start sandboxing separate pages for each game.
One question, though: the first game had two Expansion Packs which were later re-released as a stand-alone title called F.E.A.R. Files. Does that warrant its own page, or should the info still just go on the page for the first game?
^ You could put each of them in its own folder at the bottom of the trope list. So you'd have a folder for the main game, and then:
I don't think it needs to be split or renamed.
Keet cleanup^^ That works.
^ There is absolutely no reason each game cannot have its own page. F.E.A.R is a fairly popular series, I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been split already.
^I'm not gonna try to stop you from splitting it, but would the page for the series as a whole be kept at the current title?
Keet cleanupF.E.A.R files is a just a compilation so I'd still have separate pages with a note on each that it was also ported as a stand-alone game later on.
The page for First Encounter Assault Recon uses the expansion, but nobody calls this series by that name. The series's name is "F.E.A.R.", that's what's on the box-art, that's what everybody calls it, so should this page be moved?
For comparison, it'd be like calling the TV show Marvel's Agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division.
