Hey, I don’t have anything against Heard. I’m saying all that stuff against her like that she didn’t donate to charity isn’t actually true and is his PR stuff. She agreed to give them the money over ten years. Plus it’s not true that this has hurt her career. She’s still in Aquaman that just wrapped. Also that audio that is supposedly her admitting to it is manipulatively edited to take out him slamming her foot in the door. That’s what she’s talking about in context.

I feel like this is the type of thing that I would highly recommend including sources to back up your claim.

Overshadowed by Controversy is a trivia, not a trope. So "wind up on the receiving end of this trope" is just plain wrong.

^^^^ audasious is right. You could have avoided all of this trouble if you just fully explained your reasoning instead of just "Depp PR crap".
Also, you should have at least used some sources to justify your claim. Amber Heard's page is already locked due to people posting misinformation about her.

For what it's worth, the Daily Mail is a suspect source in the first place (since that example seems to cite it by name).

Okay, let's look at it this way: let's ignore for now whether the claims are legitimate or not, did this situation cause her to become a controversial figure? Based on the fact that her page had to be locked, I'd say so.
Honestly, I'm just baffled this trope even allows real life examples.

I thought trivia tropes about a creator should be posted on the creator pages, since they are technically In-Universe in the case of the person’s career.

And I agree that the main point is that "She was a popular respected actress who is now overshadowed by the abuse allegations she made against Depp and the abuse allegations he made against her, as they both started a ton of controversy." No matter who's right, she and Depp have both been massively overshadowed here.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

In my opinion yes. It's not about if they're valid but if they overshadow the actor's reputation and in this case they absolutely do.

I'd wager it still needs something of a rewrite, it comes across as as pretty biased against her/pro-Depp and again, cites the Daily Mail as anything but a hateful rag full of lies.
Like, I do think she deserves an entry but the entry as-written is pretty poor.

to that section.
They explained it as “Depp PR crap”, but I believe that it should be added back in.
I really don’t want to start an edit war, so if anyone else can give me any advice, I would appreciate it.
