Mathew takes a look at the latest Bruce Willis film Gasoline Alley... and starts to worry if Willis is actually doing okay:
Just realised Mat's last few videos haven't been mentioned here:
- A couple of days ago he did a projector on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022):
- A few days before that he looked at the Shudder original movie Night's End:
- And a couple of weeks ago he reviewed the romantic-drama Mothering Sunday:
- He also did a new episode of The Film Brain Podcast, where he, Nerd Sync, Lady Emily and MarzGurl discussed The Batman (2022):
- And he was interviewed on the Video Podcast, 1 Storey Building:
Mat takes a look at the new Dreamworks animated movie The Bad Guys:
It sounds pretty good, another Zootopia hit?
Optimism is a duty.In all honesty, it handled the central theme much better than Zootopia did.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but was their any particular reason he stopped doing Bad Movie Beatdown?
I think he just got over the format of "angrily shouting at bad movie" and wanted to do more serious reviews. Which he is very good at, mind you.
Optimism is a duty. That's a relic of the CA that is thankfully dying. It was never even funny to begin with, even if Buck did it better than most.
Yeah, Matthew was pretty good at it, but when looking back at those videos, I don't think we should regret his moving on overly much. They have not aged all that well.
Optimism is a duty.New Projector, where Mat looks at the Shudder original horror film staring Teresa Palmer; The Twin:
New episode of the Film Brain Podcast; where Mat and Stuart Ashen discuss Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:
Forgot to post this yesterday, but, Mat did a Projector review on Top Gun: Maverick:
Mathew has a follow-up to his trailer video, this time seeing if he can make a trailer for Hot Shots! look like Top Gun: Maverick:
Early today Mat reviewed the apparent Grand Finale of the Jurassic Saga: Jurassic World Dominion:
The film's so bad, it turned Buck into a Nazi.
This week Matthew does something different, namely discussing the changes to the ending of Independence Day, which makes for an interesting analysis video.
Optimism is a duty.Mathew takes a look at The Nan Movie, a feature-length film based on a skit from The Catherine Tate Show with a production so troubled, it doesn't have a credited director:
Due to the positive reception the above review has recieved, Mat has uploaded his 2014 Projector review of Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie to youtube:
I really want him to do a retrospective for the 10th anniversary of the modern classic, Keith Lemon: The Film. Not a BMB, honestly, just an extended projector on it or at least on his podcast.
"Everyone’s equal. Same chances of getting hit. Equal in the eyes of the rocket.”Matthew sounds really awkward in that last video. Is that one of his early Projector videos?
Optimism is a duty.It was made back in 2014, so while it' not one of the first Projector videos, it was done quite a while ago. You can really tell how much he's improved on his delivery and editing techniques since then.
