It's a witch's hat. I have no clue how the Student Council President can get away with such a fashion statement in the current paranoid climate, but then Fujiko Etou and co seems to be able to perform rather public displays of black magic without anyone apparently noticing.
The fact that its a witches hat doesn't bother me. It's howling mouth does.
Etou has good publicity (and big breasts). Most problems in the world can be fixed with good publicity (and big breasts).
the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.She has extendable arms, can cast magic simply by looking at someone and seems to gladly go along with Sai becoming a demon lord as long as she gets to snog him, and people are supposed to ask about the empathic hat?
I love the group shot at the end of episode 5. Everybody's okay with Sai becoming a demon lord as long as they get to be in his posse.
I know what you said, sugar, but 'platonic' still entails a world of ideas. The number one requirement for a demon king - a nice little harem.

Haha, i love this show so far. If only because Sai Akuto's an undeniably nice person while still being very far from an Extreme Doormat like many of his ilk. Korone is also Crazy Awesome.
I was a little apprehensive of the series at first. Oh look, anoether Unwanted Harem. Yay. But so far it's different enough and funny enough that it's earned it's place on my watchlist.
My only complaints stem from the fact that i'm watching the cleaned-up broadcast episodes. I wonder if i'll ever be able to see the inevitable uncut DVD release. Those censor boxes are REALLY distracting... Then again i'd probably be equally distracted if they where gone...
Bleye knows Sabers.I don't mind the little cute censor faces. They're probably more interesting than what they're covering up anyway. Turning half the screen black is annoying but they haven't done that since the first two episodes.
They air uncensored a few days later online. I can't find the link. Crunchy Remux does the subs... ah here.
Oh, and seriously. The first time we Sai meets her, the hat cackles at him. Freaky.

the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.The censor faces cover up almost nothing, and are only there half the time. Kind of wonder why they even bother.
Who names their Dragon Peterhausen, is what i want to know...
So you'd buy the DVD release.
10 posts in and no color war? I'm disappointed.
Oh fine.
RAWR! BLUE!
^ Surely, you can make a better effort.
my ranking: blue > yellow > purple > dark green > green > red
Ship wars over something that embraces the harem concept so whole-heartedly? What's the point?
^ As such, my post
Blue. I think it's the gloves.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntI say Red, but really i just know it's going to end up as Rainbow.
Hot Chick with a Sword > Robot Girl > Yakuza girl > Black Magician Girl > Dojikko > Student Council President loli.
Although everyone knows victory will go to true love betweem men!

the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.This series is so damn confounding. It's the sum of everything I loathe, but I can't stop myself from enjoying it. I like to attribute this to how awesome a character Sai is. When any other harem protagonist fights off the advances of a thousand naked women, you get the feeling that he's just incredibly sexually awkward, but with Sai there's at least the illusion that he really wants to maintain his chastity for his High Priest gig. Being voiced by Takashi Kondo also helps.
Another thought: Is anyone else reminded of Disgaea by this series? Granted, about the only thing the two have in common is an obsession with Overlords/Demon lords, but the less-raunchy humor and the absurd setting are pretty similar.
Please be gentle with me.^ Well, only two girls have actually made overt sexual advances on him (so far), Korone and Teruya, Korone just likes messing with him, and both have ulterior motives that he's suspicious about, which probably makes it a bit more realistic.

Each episode gets better and better. This episode has Korone trying her hardest to seduce Sai and of course hijinks ensue.
the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.I'd like to officially call I Knew It! for when Keena wins, not only were she and Sai getting fairly WAFF-y towards the end of this, i noticed she get a fair deal more focus in the ED compared to anyone else.
Now that that's out of the way: Episode 6, a bit too fanservicey for me, but as Beach Episodes go it was pretty damn excellent!
I don't think anyone will win. Maybe Peterhausen, but that's as far as I go.
They did seem to have something going on though. Junko's tsundere questioning of Sai and Keena's relationship was really cute, though I wonder what effect it will have.
Does anyone know how far into the 8 light novels the series is/will go?
the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.Most likely not very far, IIRC it's only slated for 12 episodes, but we can always hope for another season!
This has been bugging me for a while, and I want to know if I'm alone. I find her really distracting, almost to the point of obsession:
What is up with Lilly Shiraishi's hat? And why hasn't anyone in the show asked her about it?
