On a related note, I've just found out that red velvet cake really isn't just "chocolate dyed red" — there is some truth to this, in that red velvet cake contains cocoa powder, but not as much as chocolate cake does. (I'll admit I had my doubts about them being the exact same flavor, though it was interesting to find out why, exactly.)
