Sorry about the double post. ^_^;; I just finished reading the first volume of The Kingdom Keepers, Disney After Dark. It's very good, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest. :)

Well, this'll teach me to leave my Christmas shopping until the last minute, because apparently everyone else had the same idea. It's rare that I see every shop being crammed this full of people. Online shopping it is, I guess.

My mom's taken in this cat that was left abandoned near a car. Her name's Mazey and she is melting my heart.

Also, I saw Into the Spider-Verse yesterday and holy shit, that was amazing. Best superhero movie AND best animated movie of the year, easily.

I am attempting memetic engineering lately to use as a counter-meme to clickbait and other attempts at hyping up content that turns out to be a waste of time.

It goes like this:

“The Quality of a media is inversely proportional to the amount of promotion or hyperbole used to hype up said media.”

Just received a noise complaint from the neighbors, which seems improbable since I hardly make any sound. Only thing I can imagine them hearing is me shutting doors, since some of the door frames are hollow.

My brother is the best gift giver in our family. Dad got a Rush CD and Mom got the first four Outlander books and a case of Pepsi (bit of a family in-joke there). As for me, I got spoiled. Unfinshed Tales and Beren and Luthien and a Galadriel Funko Pop. Best Christmas gifts from someone else I've had in while!

For Christmas I got money, candy, both Ant-Man movies on Blu-Ray, Spyro: Re-Ignited Trilogy, Spider-Man on PS 4, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Deadpool boxers. Not bad, not bad. Probably should've asked for Nier: Automata merch of some sort looking back tho.

I say this while there are still four minutes of the day left. I'm finishing my Christmas by watching the ultimate Christmas movie: Die Hard.

Playing the Switch re-release of The World Ends with You, and it's just as fun as I remember. I am definitely feeling it in my wrists, though. The emulation of a DS stylus using a Switch controller is not exactly comfortable.

So we just got back from a few hours at my brother's place, and now we've been spending the end of one year and the start of another reflecting on where we were one full year ago and how far we've come. Combined with embracing this as my new favorite video game song of all time, I can't even begin to describe how emotional I'm feeling right now. This is possibly the happiest I've felt in months.

Happy New Year, everyone! I am regretting eating so much at the party I went to. I feel like a tick about to pop.

I have some good news and bad news. The good news is I did not have any weird dreams last night. :) The bad news is at a couple points during my day of work, I had random dizzy spells.

Finally coming back home after two weeks of Avorion and mouse deprivation. January'll be a busy month: I'm putting up a general mental health positivity space in my city !

Last night I lost my Pokemon HeartGold game. My brother let me use his copy of SoulSilver until I found my game, since he doesn't use his anymore. I was looking at his team, and he had this Darkrai his friend traded him ages ago. I'd assumed for the longest time that it was hacked (level 100, came from a used game). Upon closer inspection, though, all the details check out - it's actually from a Pokemon Ranger event mission.

Found my game the next morning. It had fallen into a pocket of my drawing binder, behind all the papers. I had promised my brother I'd return his game to him better than he gave it to me, but I didn't really have time to do that. So I'm gonna use this nifty little glitch I recently found out about to get an Arceus for him. It's the least I can do.

Mom had a partial thryroidectomy today. The surgery was successful. No complications. No cancer (but better safe than sorry). Now we just need her to rest here at home without over-exerting herself. That's not as easy as it sounds, let me tell you.

I'm starting to feel better now that I've had a (much-needed) sweet after-dinner drink and especially now that, thanks to Netflix, I've finally gotten to watch X Men again. I missed that show. :)

I'm now halfway through my senior year of high school. I can't wait to finally go to college.

My mom's landed a job again!

Pretty damn sure I came down with the stomach flu. Some nausea, no vomiting, no pain, a rapid heartbeat, feeling tired, and my toilet officially hates me.

At least it's happening before I go back to college?

The same thing happened to me last week. :( -hugs- Just take it easy; it'll disappear in a day or two.
