Picked up a neat little pellet pistol for S$1.60. It's about as large as a real snub-nose compact pistol, and has a 6-cylinder 6mm pellet system. Pulling the trigger really advances the cylinder and pulls the hammer! Too bad it's got no kick whatsoever, you couldn't even stun a pidgeon with it.
(I have a fascination with these little pellet guns for some reason. I now own two functional pellet pistols and this new revolver, as well as a dud snubby and two strangely compacted pellet guns that look like mini assault rifles or smgs.)

I am now the proud owner of a new DS Lite (chosen because of my preference for having a Slot 2 for easy Migration from the 3rd Generation). This time around I picked a Navy Blue one.
Why would I need a new DS? Well, my olde DS hueg has its battery life depleting slowly, and the d-pad on my silver DS lite is wearing out slowly.

My GLX-20 glows a pleasant blue, like Phazon.
New loot: silver-painted plastic pellet guns, rather like the best ones the Author of Gunsmith Cats said he had in his childhood. Two of them.
It's powered by a spring/air pressure mechanism and is cocked by pulling the top half back like an actual pistol. It possesses a magazine that is released by a tiny button behind the trigger, and takes a certain kind of little plastic pellet like the ones used in the really tiny Bomberman marble/pellet shooters in the B-Daman toyline, about 5mm in diameter. Ammo capacity of about 12, decent accuracy.
It has some serious kick, enough to sting my palm on a test shot and deal out some bruising or put out an eye, but still has virtually zero penetrating or stopping power. I'll treat them (almost) as carefully as real firearms.
Also, Fallout 2 on CD-ROM! Yay! It's a reprint disc created locally by Cylon Interactive.
