Before Discord you had IRC but people still used forums,though more accurately it would be Skype then Discord with IRC being first

I don't think instant chatrooms will ever truly kill off forums,and I honestly prefer forums overall to a chatroom

I just realized that two people who have been Meetoo'd-Stan Lee and Elder Bush-have died and their harassments seem to have been glossed over.

Why's that?

Because anyone can easily join a forum,much less so with Discord as you have to be invited to join their channel

Discord servers are similar to forums in that you end up knowing the names of all the regulars, just like here. You don't get that in places like Reddit.

I prefer forums too, but I haven't seen a newly created one in like five years.

I've noticed that on Nickelodeon, every TV show that's shown before a program that's being particularly hyped up has its commercial breaks rearranged so that the next program can begin immediately after the previous one (which has the side effect of placing a commercial break literally right after the show's theme song), whereas a program airing before a hyped-up show/episode on Cartoon Network moves only that program's second commercial break to the middle of the show to accomplish the same goal.

Which is starting to annoy me since, as of recently, Nickelodeon is also doing this for hyped-up programs that aren't even new shows or episodes, and it seems like they're wanting to keep the commercial breaks like that even if there are no programs they're hyping up at all that day. Why don't they just take the Cartoon Network approach and only swap the locations of the ad breaks on a program airing right before a hyped-up program? It's especially confusing since they actually did take that approach once.

Still haven't finished those goddamn time trials. I suppose asking for a save file with all regular level time trials done would get the mods on my case, so I'll just have to suck it up and do them, huh...

How is it that there are 200 days left until summer already? I only completed two of the 22 chapters of my new short story and I've only made a small dent in the third one. >.< ^_^;;

Do Japanese fanfics have copious amounts of Gratuitous English?

Probably about as much as Japanese culture in general can be found having? I'm not certain though. Naturally I've never really read Japanese fanfics.

All I know is that it'd have to be more acceptable and less jarring than Gratuitous Japanese.

In other news, the CEO of Pizza Hut is annoyed that people don't associate Pizza Hut with delivery. Meanwhile, they arbitrarily do not deliver to my apartment, much like they did not deliver to my last location, ever since the only Pizza Hut within walking distance was torn down (and not relocated, gj Pizza Hut) to make room for the new light rail line being built.

Wonder why the English speak in nasally voices when mentioning something they dislike. It's annoying and stuck in my head thought I probably answered my own question.

The new Wreck it Ralph is actually pretty good and isn't nearly as cringey as I thought it would be. Plus it has new models for the Disney Princesses

Which was your favorite part of it? Mine was when Ralph was screaming like a weirdo while he was speeding through the virtual reality-style tunnel to the Internet, even though that was his idea in the first place. XD

And yes, I bought tapes lol. Planning to hook it up to my laptop with a male-to-male audio cable and record stuff to tape. Could be Spotify mixtapes, could be weird art projects that'll never be listened to by anyone else but me, could be recordings of number stations I come across. Who knows?

I don't know, Governor Ratcliffe can look hilarious when you pause him at just the right moment. XD
