Weird dreams

A wealthy anthropomorphic fox took me into his huge house, which had a ton of doors on two levels. I wondered how you got to the upstairs, since there didn't seem to be any stairs. Then I realized he had portals. I followed him through the portals just fine to get to the upper levels, and my mom tried to do the same but couldn't get through them somehow.

ETA: I took a nap earlier today and woke up with a weird feeling I remember having in the dream. A strange mix of comfort, excitement, and awe.

I think the thing is that a furry friend of mine is hell bent on expanding my horizons and making me learn new things — media that I like, facts about existing and future developments in science and tech, etc. — and I shouldn't let my mom's naïveté and neophobia hold me back.

Last night: I had a strange dream where my siblings and I were on Cutthroat Kitchen for some reason. I don't remember what we were fixing in the first round, but one of the sabotages for that round was milking a goat to get the milk that you had to use, which I got. (Why you would do that in any circumstances, I dunno. Using milk straight from any animal might make you sick. I blame dream logic.) In the end, my little sister lost the round.

The next round, for some reason, required us to have to go to Disney World. After a cool down period where we swam in a large swimming pool, Alton told us that we needed to make a pancake breakfast. One of the sabotages was stopping what you were doing and making Alton a ham sandwich. I was having trouble finding eggs for the pancakes when the fire alarm suddenly went off, interrupting the match and causing everyone to have to leave the building we were in. The Cutthroat Kitchen part of the dream was forgotten, and the rest of the dream was me and my family wandering around a large store.

I just woke up at 3 in the morning after having this nightmare:

I was browsing this very forum and, after seeing a well written new page, decided to watch this linked horror movie trailer. It was about this creepy-ass styling doll that came alive and killed everyone (probably through possession). The tagline/Arc Words were "Just like a real girl". Then suddenly I was in the movie, as the female Meta Guy who dies first. I will not go back to sleep. It's still a great idea for a horror movie.

I had a dream about the forum, specifically the "Cast tropers in works" tread in Forum Games. A troper, can't remember who, was asking someone why she was cast as the character they'd casted her as and they told her it was because that character was like Narcissa and the same troper had been cast as Narcissa in the Harry Potter series. And I couldn't remember this so I was going back to find where someone had done Harry Potter and who I was cast as if they'd put me in it, but the thread was 710 pages by then and my dad kept trying to stack dollhouse-sized dishes in front of the keyboard so I'd get him a mental health checkup.

First part is actually completely plausible. Last part, not so much.

It seems to me my dreams always end at the climax. Which is fine, as I can easily imagine what would have happened, but...why?

So, this seemed to be a mix between My Little Pony, Coraline and Toy Story.

So, basically, for whatever reason, me and my completely generic friend went into this pseudo-utopia where a large slot machine/fire truck cowboy with a plug coming from his head ruled over them. After a bit of investigation, it turned out it was Crapsaccharine, with the cowboy acting as a Stepford Smiler. I was a bit unclear on the details, but I know we evacuated all the other toys and I started a one-on-one with the cowboy while my friend ran and got supplies for me.

I think the world outside of a house that looked exactly like mine had disappeared, and I had to kill he cowboy to know that we were safe. The fight went on for hours, until eventually I got a wireless vacuum, sucked at the plug in his head and dragged him around the house. That was a strong vacuum...

And then I woke up. I should make this into a book...

I had a dream where I got to see the live action Attack On Titan movie with Eren, Mikasa and Armin.

Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad, although I woke up before it ended. Damn it.

I dreamed last night that I was playing some kind of porn Flash game. I never saw any actual porn happening, but it was right the title of the game.

What the actual fuck?

At some point last night, I wound up transforming myself into Bruce, swimming across the ocean and emerging at a gas station. While there, my clothes kept getting stolen an worn by some blue versions of the penguins from Mary Poppins.

It's sort of vague in my brain now, but I remember something about an evil, real life version of Evie that befriended me but then stalked me evilly like something from a horror movie. I think this confirms that I have a serious fear of things that are almost human but not with Slasher Smiles, because my last nightmare before that was about a stylist's doll that came alive.

This wasn't really recent at all but here goes. In middle school, I had an assistant principal who... well, let's just say she was not a very pleasant person. So innocent middle school me dreamed one night that she was a vampire that feasted on everyone's blood. I don't remember any vivid details though.

I was in the house I lived in from age 2 to 18. The house had been thoroughly renovated inside and out: the awkward layout had been streamlined, and the additions that had been done improperly without a permit (namely, the garage, which was OVER THE SEPTIC TANK, and the living room/master bedroom) had all been renovated properly. Everything was shiny and new wood grain with black, and the house overall felt more modern and spacious even though it had really been built in the 50s. And I wasn't feeling sad that the house that built me had been changed so much, because enough was left for me to remember all the years lived in that house, while the changes were exactly the kind of things I had wanted to see in a place I'd be living in myself. I've had dreams before of going back to this house and finding it changed significantly (it's had some real modifications in Real Life since I moved out 10 years ago, but the changes in my dreams are always much further), but this is the first such dream I remember where I actually felt happy encountering the changes.

I think this dream, combined with the fox/portal dream above, is indicative of my recent attempts to change some of my ways and become more comfortable with who I am.

I was hermaphroditic, pregnant, and trying to get someone else pregnant.

WTF.

I had two strange dreams last night:

First one: I was in a hurry to get home so I could attend a small party my dad had set up, but he asked me to get gas first. For some reason, he wanted me to put the gas in a milk carton. I made it to the party late, which was up in a hay loft, and my family, some friends and I ate snacks and watched movies all night long. It was rather mundane but pretty nice dream.

Second dream: I was at a beach town on a stormy day. There were (oddly harmless) tornadoes everywhere and a tidal wave standing just off shore. (I think watching the Exodus movie last night had something to do with that.) Everyone was going on about their business as normal, and some lady showed me a strange phone app that could turn you into anything by inputting a certain code.

Hot.

Since lately I haven't had any interesting dreams, let me share with you one I had four years ago, in June 2011:

My family and I were riding on bikes through a very dark road, and we reached what seemed to be a beer warehouse. We parked the bikes at the front and walked into the backside of that warehouse. There was a bus terminal, and we asked one of the drivers to take us home. That's how we reached home that night, and some relatives of ours were waiting for us as they were making something for dinner, but I was too tired and went to sleep.

Fast forward the next day (and here I believed I had woken up), I started using my PC to look for more news about then then-upcoming game Skyward Sword, only to find a Doodle showing a girl smiling. I clicked the image to see what the doodle was celebrating, but then the screen started showing red stains, as if it was blood. And the more times I clicked the image, the more deformed the screen was getting. I quickly went to the hall to tell my father and brother about this, but they told me they were busy talking to some visitors; in fact, they asked me the favor to buy something. I was really upset, but I went out of my house anyways to do that chore.

I walked to the east and then looked south. There appeared to be a large chasm surrounded by several wooden houses like those that are common in mountain villages, complete with people of all kinds selling clay figurines and tobacco. I was unable to understand what was going on. The next thing I remember is that I was then some meters east of where my elementary school is in real life. It was around 4 or 5 pm, judging by the color of the sky; on my side was a school that was in the building process. There I saw a bunch of people running away and I thought I should approach there to know what was going on. As I looked further, I felt like someone backstabbed me.

Immediately after that, I found myself on a road that was parallel to a high school where my mother used to be the principal (it's located two squares east of my house). It was deep-night, just like at the start of the dream. This time, I saw people running at me with guns and knives, so I ran as fast as I could south; I was running so fast that I felt like I was flying just above the road. Shortly after that, I woke up.

That was one of the most horrifying dreams I had in my life, and even to this day I can remember it because of how real it felt. When I reflect on what might have led me to have it, I think it had something to do with the comments I was reading on a (now defunct) website poking fun at the interviews of Eiji Aonuma about the game. They were commenting on the "school drama" elements the game was meant to have during the start, then they were recalling various school-related works like High School Musical. Then someone had the brilliant idea of bringing School Days into the table and posted a video of the ending. To this day, I'm regretting having watched it.

I was ballroom dancing with Waluigi. I'm not even sure what to think of this one. At least he was good at it.

At some point last night, I dreamed I was playing Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and I noticed that Absol was playable. I thought: "Hey, cool!" and selected her. This somehow transported me into the game, and I watched a 1 vs 1 match between the Absol and Zekrom. (Even though I never saw the latter in the roster.) Midway, the match halted and I was brought into the playfield. Absol asked me if I wanted to be Zekrom. I said yes, and she fired a strange beam at me that transformed me into Zekrom. The match was forgotten and the dream ended with me and the Absol chatting over a plate of cookies.

I had a dream that I was Simon in the final fight (yes, in the giant-ass final form). It was weird since I could literally feel the Spiral energy going through me. I'd explain it as a HUGE adrenaline high that got me really pumped up (I guess that explains why they yell a lot). Also the cockpit, (my hands still on the controllers) was just a full space view. It was interesting to experience, to say the least.

Something about Pokemon. There was a giant egg thing but I wanted to be playing a different version so i could get a better starter. Note that I have never played Pokemon.

WAH!

I was playing Yume 2kki, and apparently I ran into a glitch/secret (I couldn't tell which it was at the time) where I lost half my effects and some of the remaining ones were replaced with new ones. I had also gotten two new playable characters: one with the same amount of entirely new effects, and the other with only one effect but multiple "add-ons" which looked like grotesque giant limbs. The secret also transported me into a room where I could use growing and shrinking abilities (similar to what happens when Urotsuki eats the cheese in Toy World) to go into smaller areas. The details are fuzzy on the actual area, but it looked a bit like a house with finished lumber for everything.

I’m watching this acclaimed TV series called Merlin, starring Kevin Kline as an ordinary suburban resident who commutes to his office job in the city every day, comes home and kisses his wife on the cheek, etc. etc.

Then things start getting weird. It turns out he has an imaginary doppelgänger/twin (presumably named Merlin; it’s never made clear why the show is called that) who allows him to alter the world in small or major ways at will. Whether or not he’s imagining the changes or they’re really happening is also left up for the viewer to decide/figure out.

He winds up walking towards a sub-tropical harbour. This is a really stunning scene, with a wide panoramic vista, in spite of the fact that most of the area is actually scuzzy, industrial docks.

The dream turned into a nightmare/anxiety dream, but I forget how exactly. Funny, it’s usually only those parts I can remember.

Not weird so much as cute, but I dreamed I'd somehow obtained three more kittens, called Salt (white), Pepper (solid gray), and Shadow (jet black). They were about half the size of my RL cat (who was in the dream too) and adorable.

Then in the next dream my mom was still alive and I was singing "Shadow of the Day" to her to show her that not all Linkin Park songs were screamy. And the new kittens were still around in this one too.
