If I've played it on repeat a thousand times.
If I start having it as a theme song for my fiction.
A brighter future for a darker age.Shivers. On. The neck.
"Worst thread plus Guitar Bizarre ———> Best thread" - SporkaganzaCan't say what happens in general, but I do have one specific instance. My friend and I were riffing on Star Wars Episode I, but then as soon as Darth Maul showed up and Duel of the Fates started playing, we stopped, because no matter how stupid the movie had been up until this point and how pointlessly flashy and Narmy the ensuing fight scene was, we could no longer make fun of the movie because Duel of the Fates was playing. So I guess you could say I'm a sucker for Ominous Sanskrit Chanting.

It can only be called fate. That here. I would again gather the three with the crests. That I should lay my hand on that which grants the wishes of the beholder. That when power, wisdom, and courage come together, the gods would have no choice but to come down.Madass Alex -
My theory teacher has always said that to "add" chords one should use 2 and 4. Since 9 and 11 chords are a tad different things.
'It's gonna rain!'Hmm, I get them more on my arms and shoulders. But they are a definite sign that a song I'm listening to is awesome.

I learned that "add" is generally a 9 or 11 thing and 2s and 4s are sus.
Basically, my school of thought goes that if you have a sus2 chord, you've already replaced the 3 with the 2. The 4 and 2 cannot share the 3, so you have to make it an 11.
It's worth considering on an octave basis, too. Using a 2 or 4 implies a close intervallic relationship to the tonic, whereas a 9 or 11 implies more space. Depending on the chord and tuning, it might actually be impossible to get a 2 and 4 in the same chord, forcing you to use a 9 or an 11.
I could, of course, be completely wrong.

Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchMakes me want to put it on repeat and spin it for days. With songs, that's okay, but with whole albums it starts to eat up time.
Each line spirals unto itself. When I either:
- Start headbanging
- Tap my foot
- Hum along
- Sing along
- Dance (This is for those truly awesome pieces of music only)
Awesome song signs 2: Live in concert
- The air is sucked from my lungs.
- The crowd is singing along.
- I'M singing along.
- My head is moving.
- I get those devil horns in the fuckin' air (like the singer told us to do).
- The singer told us to jump, and I asked "How high?", then I did it (aka, full participation).
- I headbang.
- My fist is in the air.
- My fist is pumping in the air.
- My fist is angerly pumping.
- My arm is getting tired, and I don't care!
I get a weird feeling, like there's something tingling inside my chest. It's like your soul having an orgasm Other signs usually include an adrenaline rush and a feeling of power as if fire burns inside you (usually happens when I listen to good metal songs or similar). I imagine different scenes - sometimes me playing the song live or completely different images (landscapes, strange places). If the song has lyrics I also feel the need to sing along or hum the tune if there aren't any.
Please don't feed the trolls!- Headbanging
- I attempt to sing along, language (or even lack of lyrics) be damned
- I give the middle finger to ear health and max the volume
- I start the song over again if I'm interrupted during the middle of it
- I get sidetracked from what I'm supposed to be doing thanks to paying more attention to the song
- I actually buy it, should it ever show up on iTunes or in my local music store
Put it on repeat.
Pretend to play an instrument such as Violin or Guitar.
Dancing.
Toe Tapping.
Getting lost in thought while listening to the musc.
Singing Along/Humming the melody/Breathing in time with the music.
Intense visualisations of music videos or tour performances.
and yeah. Just intense joy from listening to the music and hearing every momant of it and feeling connected to it in some way..
Hyperness induced happiness. and shivers/tingles/tears of joy-Sorrow....
oh and if it stimilates my mind or I can feel the thought which went into making the song perfect it'll totally get me off. Especially since I understand musical theory somewhat a simple well placed choir part can blow my freaking mind... (Thank you EPICA)

Dah-nah-nah-trah-gaaaah. You know that sound. That dah-nah-nah-trah-gaaaah sound. It makes any sound awesome.
Never be without a Hat! Hot means heat. I don't care if your usage dates to 1300, it's my word, not yours. My Pm box is open.My foot starts tapping in time with the music. I start moving my head to the beat. The lyrics make me pause in order to take them in. Any other sign is purely based on genre.
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.
Triplets.
Anyway, a good sign I've found is if the riffs are epic. Another is if I find myself swept along by the song (or if it gets stuck in my head). Cool imagery in my head is another one.
