in other news: Valve brought the Mr. Valve logo back for Half-Life Alyx, and I dig how they made his head turning a much more subtle movement than the version they used for Portal 2.
kinda interesting how they've kept their theme tune and foreboding energy for it even for stuff that doesn't fit that vibe as much (TF2 during the Orange Box days, but also Portal, which has a real dark undercurrent going plot-wise but still feels chipper enough for the contrast to be a little jarring)
