Last September, My parents and I went to Walmart to pick up some groceries. I'm not kidding when I say this but when we got to the dairy aisle to get some milk, Guess what I saw that they were already selling? Egg nog, a drink that's usually available during the holiday season.

I live in America too, so that doesn’t surprise me at all. Hell, at least egg nog is something you can reasonably drink around the year. You should see how early some people whip out Christmas decorations.

I don't think I've seen Christmas decorations put up at least before around Thanksgiving out here in the land of square dancing, giant barby-Qs, homemade peas-in-a-can pies, and ten-gallon hats... :V

Maybe some people just like eggnog. I never did understand why some perfectly alright foodstuffs and drinkstuffs have an arbitrary holiday restriction. I mean, over here we have these chocolate mini rolls, and they sell special orange versions at Halloween, and I have to ask why? I'd be all over those at any time of the year, why restrict it to that one damn date? :V
I can attest to stores selling christmas paraphernalia earlier and earlier every year, however. Maybe it'll get so early that it'll loop back around to the normal time again. And then once Christmas is over, they immediately start showing ads on TV about how to financially prepare for next Christmas. :V
