That might work, but it might be too tall for the page

The image could probably be made smaller on the page - forums make images look big regardless of set size.
If all else fails, use fire. How much of the original strip is that? We can't use more than half of it without permission.
It’s 3/4. I didn’t know comic strips required permission, but I’ll try to get it if necessary
If all else fails, use fire.I think the last two panels could work as a left-to-right image.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
Also, the caption: "Don't you mean Perry the Platypus?"
Pull the current, but I'm not sold on the suggestion.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Uh, yeah, not sold on the image specifically because it's too many panels to use without permission, and because it uses "Perry the Platypus" which many people would instead assume is a Phineas and Ferb reference joke.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI think the last two panels might work. The 3-panel version would be too wordy anyway.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.So I realize I misread it as "Perry" and not "Perky"; with this realization I feel more comfortable upvoting it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe current is an example of the trope but it is, ironically, probably pretty obscure if you aren't someone who lived the UK during the 1980s and early 1990s it's a reference to this advert by the UK Dairy board, basically was the UK version of "Got Milk?" for a long time. But the quote on a milk bottle alone is not illustrative unless you know the context (I might add it as a video example though) so pull. Not fully convinced by the example though either.

All I can think of is:
♪ He's not Perry, Perry the Platypus! ♫
But that might just confuse matters so I'm not sure.
In my opinion, the current image misses part of the trope/joke, which is implying why the object in question is unheard of. With this in mind, I think the comic below covers the trope better overall with a more traditional setup.
