At the very least, a screenshot where she isn't looking at the camera would work better.

Maybe even use their caption? "Jumping on a ramp - I bet this helped to attract new players"

Neither am I
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectHm how about one of these:
The above, combined with the Loaded Magazine cover that I assume Eidos made for them from around the same time as the above game (at the very least it got the Eidos stamp of approval):
Unfortunately I can't find a higher quality scan of the magazine.
That doesn't work for me either. Out of context it's just a back angle of a character and a saucy pinup of the same character, that doesn't carry the specific connotations of the trope enough for me; might be more just implying "this character is used for fanservice in general".
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!Yeah that occured to me as I put it together to be honest but I thought I might as well upload it and see what others thought.
7 is a bit tiny, but I don't see why it's so reviled.
11 is plain bad, it doesn't show much "seductress".
I'd like to apologize for all this.7.1 I'll give you not showing seductress, but 7.2 does. It just struggles getting the third party + sexy across at the same time.
- 7 is just me giving an uploaded version and the source. They're the same picture. Meme unintentional.
If you want a different one:

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableWell, it's what our sole " First-Person Shooter" entry's talking about.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHm, I found we had a previous thread on this:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1294095307062775100&page=1
Which ground to a halt due to there being an issue people finding something that showed gameplay UI and sexy shot, which was back in 2011 so from something more recent:
They still doesn't really illustrate the point of the trope for me in that the woman is designed with intent to be attractive as a playable character — these proposals have the same vibe of merely "Ms. Fanservice is a playable character". Again, I think a proper image would have to illustrate that metanarrative intent behind the character's design.
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!I can't put it together efficiently in mobile buut panels 2+4 of this El Goonish Shive strip? Found it on Third-Person Seductress' on page examples.
Macron's notesThat reasoning sounds like Distinction Without a Difference to me. Player character designed to be attractive to the player is the same as player character is Ms. Fanservice.
Works, but I'm on mobile too right now.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
The current image is just of Lara Croft posing:
While she is probably one of the most famous examples of the trope, this image is still very much JAFAAC. It might be tricky to find a better image as it probably needs to be something more meta directly commenting on the nature of the trope from a webcomic or something; anyone have any ideas to pitch in?
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!
