Off the bat, this page calls itself a trope, but only 2 of the "examples" have context that describes how they are villainous/antagonistic, which makes this page effectively an index wihout indexing. If we judge it as a trope, it only has 23 wicks which is starving for a trope this old.
Yet, even if we consider it as a trope, I'm not sure how this is a meaningful split from Antagonist Title, as it just seems to be that + animals. I'm also not sure why this is limited to "when the monster the film is named after is not some made up creature". Objectively, what's the difference between a bunch of angry evil primates and a single Killer Gorilla named Kong if they are both protrayed as being scary in-universe?
That said, while discussing Shark Stories in the "Works About X" indices thread, someone suggested that a potential genre page we're missing is one for "natural horror
", a film genre focused on natural forces like animals, plants, and even natural disasters as the main antagonist. I'm fairly sure the majority of the works on this page would qualify. However, I don't know how unique such a page would be from Disaster Movie or Nature Is Not Nice.
Suggestions:
I'm pretty indifferent on the outcome, but full disclosure, I'm not really interested in drafting the Natural Horror page myself should that be what is selected.
