The Boss Theme Game

A lich whose idea of immortality is to stitch corpses into a singular, titanic mass of rotting flesh. Once a gluttonous cannibal in life, the lich's aberrant magic grants him unnerving control of flesh — both living and dead. Muscle and bone knit into impossible shapes which you must dodge to survive. At the same time, beware that your own organs may turn itself against you, should you linger too long within the lich's gaze. As you blast away through the layers upon layers of desecrated bodies, eventually exposing the lich's Phylactery (itself taking the form of a malformed, yet still-beating heart), the music swells in intensity, layering in the vocal sections as the battle climaxes with the lich summoning legions of half-stitched zombies to swarm you.

Gilla Band - Lawman

At the start, when only the drums are playing, nobody's there, until the electric guitar (or whatever that instrument is) starts playing, then lots of previously-faced bosses start appearing to distract the player. After all of them are defeated, the boss - a giant robot, who gained his size by absorbing other robots - appears. His attacks are powerful laser blasts, which destroy everything in their way, but, fortunately, his attack recharge time is long. Also, you need to destroy his steel armor before actually damaging him.

A sorcerer who controls the creatures of the night who has a Dark and Troubled Past and doesn’t want to fight you, but his boss will kill him if he doesn’t.

32Crash - Neighbours

Bump

In a dark area of a modern city, a techno-cult revives their dead leader through a mixture of dark magic and science. The cultists flee the area, and you are left to fight the undead cult leader.

Arca - "Mutant"

The Brute, fought as a Disc-One Final Boss/ Climax Boss.

A slower-paced boss fight, focusing on avoiding area-of-effect attacks and doing a lot of platforming. Set in an abandoned, brutalist-style location (loads of smooth concrete covered in graffiti), you're up against a giant robot with devestating napalm and poison grenades. It's obviously more about survival and getting to the weak point.

Gojii - Cloudlike

The tutorial boss, very easy.

Alestorm - Keelhauled

You're a pirate who's managed to piss of his captain and the rest of the crew, and your only option is to defeat the captain in single combat while the rest of the crew watch - and possibly try to tip the fight in the captain's favor.

Over The Hills And Far Away by Nightwish

The knight-captain of the city you fled from, come to bring you back to "justice". He's brought a bunch of guards with him and rides a pegasus. If you avoid killing the guards, the battle doesn't end with either of your defeats, but rather the knight-captain realizing that you should never have been taken away in the first place and letting you go. If you made some other choices, the knight-captain will join you and trigger a quest leading to the Golden Ending.

A fight with an Artificial Human SNK Boss that uses the genes of the previous fighters to use different attacks ala Shang Tsung.

At the end of a 3D Sonic-like game's water level (or water-city or water-oil rig level), you encounter the Eggman of the level. This one is a submarine that fires barrages of missiles at you sometimes, and jumps onto the stage to fight you at other times.

You pick a fight against an entire country's armed forces — literally. The true target of your rampage is the country's president, safely tucked away inside a max security bunker. To get there, you need to plow through (in order):

• Cops in riot gear, who is locked in a three-way melee between you and the giant mob you unintentionally spurred into action.
• National guardsmen with automatic weapons and the occasional helicopter support.
• Actual, trained soldiers, backed with hard-hitting armored fighting vehicles (hope you pack anti-tank munitions!)
• Ground attack planes courtesy of the air force, who at this point is desperate enough to bomb friendly troops if it means hurting you.
• The navy chiming in with ultra-long distance artillery bombardment.

When you do breach the bunker's sealed doors, you are greeted by the president's trump card: a suit of powered armor with enough firepower to devastate an infantry platoon. However, he trips and breaks his leg before he can get inside the suit, leaving the soon-to-be-deposed leader at your complete mercy.

You somehow fight an entire makeup store's staff.
