Agreed, it definitely counts but lacks the obvious wham needed to make the trope clear.
This is an example, but it cannot be deduced from out of context. Pull. Possibly BUPKIS.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Pull, then, I guess.
(Annoyed grunt)Keep Until Better Image Suggested since this is an inherently spoileriffic trope. At least the current is the Trope Namer for It Was His Sled.
Keet cleanupI actually kinda wanna put it on It Was His Sled with the page quote as the caption.
The spoilery nature of the trope is exactly why I suggest BUPKIS. And because it requires way more context than what a single image could provide.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.That could work, I suppose.
Keet cleanupFor It Was His Sled, what about the last 4 panels of [1]◊?
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.to pull, to move to It Was His Sled. If it isn't illustrative on this page (which I agree that it isn't), it would be even less illustrative there — not only would an image for that page have to illustrate The Reveal, but also that said reveal has undergone a such degree of Pop-Cultural Osmosis that the majority of the work's audience already knows it. Just showing the Trope Namer out of context accomplishes neither of those.
I'm leaning towards BUPKIS on both of these pages, as they both require some form of context that's difficult to provide in an image format.

clearly things are going well.I agree.
That's better, but I'm not sure it's illustrating this trope — it's not so much illustrating "everyone knows the twist" as it is "someone who's already seen the work knows the twist and spoils it for someone who hasn't." Which is, y'know, kind of how spoilers work.
I do, however, think that might actually be a better suggestion for Spoiler itself, given how that page has a rather obtuse and unillustrative Visual Pun. The reference to It Was His Sled's Trope Namer may confuse things, though...
clearly things are going well. How about a Visual Pun/ Literal Metaphor in the form of Roy Lichtenstein's "Whaam!" artwork, like this one but properly cut?

The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?for the last 3 panels of 9 for It Was His Sled.
Rock'n'roll never dies! The last three panels of 9 work for It Was His Sled; I'm willing to give the Trope Namer some leeway, considering it's barely a trope and has no examples. A Visual Pun image for Wham Shot like the one in 13 is also a good idea.
Keet cleanupI like it better on Spoiler.
9, last 3, for Spoiler. Maybe the last part of It Was His Sled's quote as the caption.
13 for Wham Shot.
she/her/they | wall | sandboxI'd prefer that on It Was His Sled; I like the current Visual Pun on Spoiler.
Keet cleanupThat seems like more than half of a Peanuts strip.
Same.
Edit: I should probably mention that I haven't decided on anything for Wham Shot.
