Agreed, having a target on his shield makes it work.
My concern is that a target on the shield kinda defeats the purpose of becoming a target yourself. Was expecting the target on their body instead.
Thoughts on the image on Cook, Serve, Delicious!? It's a screenshot from the game, but it's a picture of a toilet cleaning, which is very much not what you're doing most of the time. The caption is a quote from a Let's Player, which leads me to think that Fan Myopia was a primary factor for its addition.

Slasher Movie pic doesn't show much related to the genre, it's just a somebody with a rake. Ironically for the caption, there's no way to tell it's a Serial Killer or that he's out for the Final Girl, and it's too dark to see anyway.

I think it's Keep Until Better Image Suggested category. We see someone in the dark with a weapon, which is usual for the genre. Even better, that's not just any weapon but a weaponized tool.
