Trope Launch Pad Adoption Drive

I'm considering, at the end of this year, to officially put every unlaunched/undiscarded draft I've made up for grabs and wipe my slate clean. A lot of them are UFG already, anyway.

Burn Scars, Burning Powers is lapsing into UFG on Wednesday. I plan to grab it if the OP doesn't show up.

I have decided to put 3 of my TLP Drafts Up For Grabs:

• OOC Message
• More Than Just Spock
• Darkhorse Episode

I think they all have potential (even if the latter two are heavily bombed), but I don't really feel like working on them. I still have 4 drafts, which I will deal with when I feel up to the task.

I've done some updating in the draft for the Literature/HomerPrice work page in the past few months (including asking on-page if anyone was okay with me adopting it, though nobody ever replied), and it looks ready to transfer from Trope Launch Pad to the proper namespace (it's up to 32 tropes). As its creator was given a permanent suspension from the site less than a month after first posting it last September, would it be permissible for me to make a "Notification of launch" post and then officially launch it myself three days later?

Works' Pages Are a Free Launch; using TLP to help draft them is allowed, but they're not tropes and they don't need to follow TLP launch rules (including sponsorship and launch notices) as long as the draft meets the basic criteria for a works page.

Yep, feel free to make the page. However, you don't need to give a 3-day launch notice or use the launch button (and in fact I think doing so will result in it being made at Main.Homer Price Literature). Instead, copy the source code of the draft and paste it into Literature.Homer Price. Don't forget to crosswick it once it's on the main wiki.

Actually, everything's already been crosswicked. The majority of the tropes were collected from trope pages across the site and assembled onto this one, and what wasn't, I posted on the appropriate trope pages a while back.

Small Parent, Huge Child has been declared UFG.

So, my issue lately is that I keep getting motivated enough to make a thread, but then running out of steam in the rolling-updates phase. There's several drafts I'm tempted to just declare UFG, but I'm on the fence as to whether or not I should.

I already had to declare one of my old drafts as UFG because it didn't get any feedback after two years. It seems at a certain point some of drafts plateau no matter how many times I bump them. I might declare some of the drafts I adopted UFG because of minimal growth.

That's kinda why I took long break from TLP prior to modding.

So I was asking over Trope Finder about an Aborted Arc being resolved at a later date or installment, and eroock provided a link for a TLP draft called "Revived Arc". Seems to be inactive for more than 3 years and the sponsor hasn't been active since last year.

I feel like this would be put here rather than being discarded.

I'd like to sponsor the launch now, due to it technically being UFG since the old sponsors are either inactive or banned. Sorry for asking in this way; new to TLP....

Announce on the draft that you're the sponsor now, and spend a few days watching over it.

Seconding. Just make sure to abide to the TLP Guidelines, such as polishing the draft scheduling the launch date in advance once the issues are addressed.

Also, what to do with the "Revived Arc" draft? The topic seems to be beyond my scope, but I believe the draft is tropeworthy, especially when revisiting and finishing an Aborted Arc.

Thanks for the help. I'll folderize Revived Arc if it hasn't been already. It sounds VERY tropeworthy. However, I do not know of works that qualify as an entry for Revived Arc.

Feeling inclined to adopt Propellor Hat Of Youth, OP hasn't touched it since it was conceived and the last comment was almost a year ago.

This is my first time adopting a draft, I have an upgraded version of it in a word file with the suggested examples and additions so far, and possible indexes it can go on. May I have a go at it?
