that sounds like a very localized meme that didn't grow outside of very specific forums

Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistRemoved this from YMMV.The Blacklist. Just...what.
- Memetic Mutation: In the forums, someone who's seen the show will quote Reddington's lines.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThat sounds more like Reddington is a Fountain of Memes, if somebody cares to expand upon what those memes are.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Does anyone else think that the Memes page for Pokémon has gotten way too big? Even when just using one folder, the game and anime folders alone take up more than one page, making difficult to find certain examples. Should we split some of the examples and just make new pages for them?
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has a lot of ZCE under the Memetic Mutation. I can absolutely vouch for many of these indeed being popular memes that see a lot of use in different contexts, but there's a lot of entries that require fleshing out, and at least some of them are the result of KroboProductions YTP videos.
Jurassic Park also has a problem with half of its entries being yelled-out quotes or otherwise ZC Es.
Can anybody add context to YMMV.Travis Scott or do we cutlist the page?
- Memetic Mutation:
- The cover of Astroworld.
- Wanna listen to "Sicko Mode" or "Mo Bamba"?
No need to wait; just cutlist it.
I'm back!& I wouldn't be so hasty, I just looked into it and the latter does seem to be a legitimate meme. Definitely needs more context, though.
EDIT: Is this better?
- Memetic Mutation: Wanna listen to "Sicko Mode" or "Mo Bamba"? note

Thanks. And the Astroworld one?
I'm back! That I don't know about. Regardless, I think YMMV.Travis Scott should be removed from the cut list.
Well, it's already cut, though we could recreate the YMMV page for the new example.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAlright, let's.
Memes.Austin Powers is almost entirely ZCEs.
back lolFound this on Raya and the Last Dragon:
- Memetic Mutation: Comparing the younger Raya's attire to that of Katara and/or Korra became very common after the first trailer was released.
Does comparing one character's outfit to another character's from a a different work altogether really qualify as a meme. Also is it too soon for this work to actually start having memes, considering it's unreleased and a teaser for it was only just released today?
It can if it gets widespread enough (certain character design similarities noted by fans have gotten a lot of fanart, meme images, and entire fan A Us built off of them), but as you pointed out it's only been out for a day. That's hardly long enough for that sort of thing to happen.
I saw a very similar entry get brought up under Fandom-Enraging Misconception (which is definitely misuse as we don't know enough about the plot to know that anything is a misconception yet). Might need to keep an eye on this page for speculative fandom stuff in this case.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. There's this example from YMMV.The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl:
- Memetic Mutation: The entire shouting match between Max, Linus, and Mr. Electricidad.
- "HE RUINED MY DREAM JOURNAL!"
- "I did NOTnote ! Mr. Electric, send him to the principal's office and have him expelled!!"
- "You're in MY class, not the other way around! I know EVERYTHING! And you... know nothing."
- "At the end of class, both of you will report to the principal's office...WITH YOUR PARENTS!"
Never mind that the Mondegreen entry in the note seems a bit misplaced, it looks more like a Shout-Out to The Room to me, if anything.
It's misuse of Mondegreen since people don't mishear something, they deliberately misspell it for comedy.
For what it's worth, I do often see the different quotes used in different memetic connotations, barring the first two, which may be why they're separate.
Oh, there's other memes listed? Then that's simply a violation of example indentation. It could be something like:
- Memetic Mutation:
- The entire shouting match between Max, Linus, and Mr.
- Some people on tumblr also had the idea of mixing up the words in the title, so they came up with "Lavashark and Boygirl".
- Sharkboy's rap for its hilariously aggressive lyrics.
- SHARKBOY AND LAVAGIRL FUCKEDexplanation
- The entire shouting match between Max, Linus, and Mr. Electricidad.
Though citing exactly how the dream journal conversation gets memed would add more context. The "Sharkboy's rap" example is also borderline ZCE.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Still, it looks jarring when paired with non-related memes without the quote format.
~Flameal15k just added this example to Memes.US Politics pre-commented out, which is not a thing we're supposed to do:
- The Cruelty Is The Point.Explanation
Uncomment or remove entirely? Personally, I don't feel like this is really a meme per se...
also their edit reason was "The madness is here." which is confusing to me?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. It has been removed.
It's also probably a bad ROCEJ violation.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I think since the page is getting too long we should cut the examples from the 2016 election season onwards.
Rock'n'roll never dies!
Maybe cut that
