Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Pearl leaps away from the elite guard after Nick knocks the latter down with a Pyro Ball. She then catches up with the others, and James fires at a weak spot on the floor.
"Hang on tight, everyone!" says Garnet as the Crystal Gems hold onto each other as they fall.
After landing, Pearl shines her light from her gemstone and checks if everyone is okay.
"Of course, I'm okay!" says Amethyst as she shapeshifts back to her default form and goes "Ta-da!" as she poses and wears a fake smile.
"You sure about that?" asks Steven, panting. "We lost one of us already, or maybe even a few..."
Elevator —> Cataris
The team steps out into Cataris, and Bismuth and Peridot marvel at its infrastructure while Lapis groans and looks at the gemstone on her back.
"Reminds me of the basement of my old forge!"
"That machine's similar to the hand-shaped Gem Pedestals in Homeworld!"
"Even if I'm not melting or burning up, I still don't like it in here..."
They then follow Fire Eyes into the next room.

Sorry your clone is being such a jerk, Verdi. (Stella says.) Least you didn't get so comfortable in a bed you died.
(She grimaces, worried what happened to her clone will set them back in getting Verdi to sleep in a bed. It was bad enough already that someone innocently told Verdi not to let the bedbugs bite the other day and made him think he was going to be eaten by bugs in his sleep.)

(Magnus and Bubba head back inside.)
Was everything alright? (Phoebe asks.)
Yeah! Think it all got resolved...uh...I think. (Bubba says.)
Phew...thought we were all gonna have to go out there for a minute. (Spyro says.)
Hey, yo, we coulda all taken them on! (Jake says, throwing a couple of air punches.) AmDrag teaming up with the...yo, what'd you say your pad was called again?
Just the Dragon Realms? (Spyro says.)
AmDrag and RealmDrags... (Jake mutters, trying to decide how well off the tongue that rolls.)
ZDR (Surface)
(Much to everyone's relief, Melba restrains Rouki and gives them an opening to make their way down the path Sticky and Shepard spotted.)
(Sidon is momentarily confused for why this Mawkin just saved him until he recognizes the symbol on his chest.) Why, Ben! Brilliant idea!
Yeah! But let's talk about it later, we gotta get outta here! (Wanda says.)
Yeah! (Ben says as they run off with the Mawkin Ben knocked down shouting threats behind them.) ...Eh, what's more people angry with me, huh?
I'm sure you'll get more opportunities later. Now come on! (Colby says to Amethyst. He doesn't seem bothered at all that Amethyst is taking the form of the corrupted Spyro clone.)
(Speaking of which, the real clone lumbers around to try to breathe fire at everyone trying to run away.)
Hen? You wanna try a synchronized Air Slash? (Tenn asks Henry.)
Of course! (Henry says.)
(Henry and Tenn both simultaneously use Air Slash in the Spyro clone's direction, causing it to stagger and fall over onto its side onto the Squiddly clone with enough force to cause the Squiddly clone to glitch out and implode like the Hyp clone did.)
(Everyone hurries off with the angry group of Mooks behind them. The corrupted clone of Miss Whoops is still flying along with them.)
Alright, everyone, where do we go from here? (Greta asks.)
(Fortunately, James finds a way into a sewer. Everyone scrambles down into the hole (with Greta and Colby temporarily assuming their mortal forms when they do so they can fit through better).)
(Afterward, everyone has ended up in a dark sewer. The glow coming off of the 'Brijes' colorful bodies provides a little extra light, but not very much.)
Well, citizens, we have escaped! (Henry says.) ...For now, at least...
At the very least, maybe we can catch our breath a little. (Wanda says, exhaustedly sitting down a moment.) ...What do we do now? Steven's right, we lost somebody and we don't know who else we might have lost.
Not to mention that Colby, Greta, and I all had some of our atoms stolen. (Sticky says.) We cannot afford to lose more, especially to the point where we can no longer help you all.
ZDR (Underground -> To Cataris)
(July emits a small squeak as she puts the ice armor on.) Ohmygoshthatscold...
(June squeaks as well.) Feelsnicebutsupersupercold!
Aw, c'mon, guys, I think they're just fine! (August says, walking around a minute to test how she can move around wearing this.) It'd be great on a hot summer day.
This would be impractical for Scale Cove, I feel, but it fits quite well here. (Cleo says.)
(Finally, the elevator stops and everyone gets off. Everyone takes in the industrial-like atmosphere here a minute.)
Wow, a guy could get lost in here, huh? (Joaquin remarks as they follow Fire Eyes.)
Oh, of course! I'm glad Fire Eyes is here to guide us. (Veena agrees.)
(Knox, at this point, already has one of his swords summoned in case they get ambushed by someone.)
Pirate-y Book
(The cannon is plugged up successfully! The foxes exchange worried glances for a moment as the cannon starts to cartoonishly inflate before backfiring with a) BOOM!!!
(Lyric, Shelby, and Flotina look on in shock as the back half of the foxes' ship suddenly detaches itself from the front alongside the explosion.)
Shelley! (Shelby exclaims in worry.)
(Of course, Oscar, Lucian, Shelley, and Dess are all perfectly fine. The foxes are now completely soot-colored except for their eyes as they stand behind their cannon, the back end of which is now burst open like a flower. The foxes stand there blinking for a moment before collapsing into two piles of ash with their eyes sitting on top of them. A moment later, they both stick out their arms from the piles of ash they have been turned into and both wave white flags.)
Okay, uncle! We surrender! (The duo says.)
Well, I think we've won! (Oscar says, he emits another hearty laugh...though he worries for a minute and looks to Odessa.) ...Uh, those two will be fine, right?
Pfft, of course they will. They've been through worse. Now let's find out where they were hiding the treasure! (Odessa says.)
(Fortunately it won't take long to find the treasure. It appears the duo was keeping it in a chest right beside the cannon.)

"Ah, no wonder that purple-haired lady was able to borrow one of the books here without gettin' hurt!" says Justice, referring to what Mene did at Night 3.
"But at least everyone's alright, I think..." says Mari.
"Think we should stay here a little longer, though?" asks Rana.
ZDR, Sewer
Garnet checks herself upon the 'Brijes mentioning stolen atoms; she's just an inch shorter than normal.
"Sapphire lost a few as well, and I would have ceased to exist if it were not for you, Greta."
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
Léodagan, the Bloodthirsty
Cataris
"Then you will truly hate the caverns around. The temperature is far more hellish than here." Fire Eyes said to Lapis.
"Oh you have to be kidding..." Tokage grunted.
The team moved around the large hottish facility, with Fire Eyes frequently redirecting the thermal flow to open the doors when necessary. They also had to climb the large machinery present in the facility. Along the way, they would come across a very large room, just in front of the very big thermal generator the team had seen from the glass bridge in Artaria.
"Well that's one big cylinder you got there." Alex remarked.
"It's quite different from SR388's Tower but I can see the similarities." Aaron added.
Sometimes, they would come across rooms filled with magma (example
◊), quite difficult to navigate. Thankfully, with the ice armor, Tokage and Aaron were fine, and the former was still agile enough to leap around. There were also quite a lot of flame jets to watch out for
◊. As for the droid enemies patrolling the facility, there were Autsnipers
◊, some sorts of mini-tanks with great aim, and the solid Autclasts
◊. There weren't a lot of aliens, though there were sometimes swarms of Plys
◊ that had infiltrated it. Normally, there would be Chozo soldiers present, but most of them were at the surface right now, thanks to the other group's efforts.
After a long while, the team would reach the end of the facility. A strange statue
◊ was awaiting them, the inside of its mouth leading into the volcanic caverns.
Pirate Book
Lucian got worried too after seeing the foxes turning into ashes. But Odessa assured them they would be fine.
"Okay..." he said, looking around before noticing a part of the chest just beside the cannon.
"Hey. I think it's right here!" he said.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."
Dick: (To Fire Eyes) Welp... that statue sure looks imposing.

Cataris
The team follows Fire Eyes through Cataris, and Bismuth and Peridot take a gander at the generator. They then enter the magma chambers, and Bismuth dips herself in and tells Peridot to ride on her shoulders. Peridot shakes as she imagines Cluster Gems jumping out of the magma to attack her, but she quickly hops on Bismuth and holds onto her. While the burly Gem ferries Peridot across the magma, Lapis tries flying above it. She struggles with getting across before her wings quickly evaporate, but she manages to reach the other side, too.
The Gems then carefully sidestep the flame jets. Bismuth's size makes it hard for her to avoid them, but she gets through with only a few scorch marks. They also stay on guard for the enemies residing here until the team finally reaches the statue.
"Great... I feel like I should sit out of this one, but if we made it this far..." says Lapis.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we can come up with a strategy that can make you useful!" says Peridot.
"Well, I'm ready for whatever happens in there!" says Bismuth as she puts her game face on.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
"ENTITY"

Outside
Okay, I should be motivated now. Those bastards are going to pay THIS time! jtard announces to himself, after having given up on hunting down the Demigods previously for their mistakes. He takes some more time to catch his breath, before setting out to find where the Demigods are now. The answer? Well...
Somewhere else outside
Holy shit, that was insufferable. Three hours, three freaking hours! It seems that Catastrobi is too catching his breath along with the other Demigods. Not only was running from jtard lethargizing, but so was narrating the season! Well, we should just take some time to rest. R'lyehian also says, while Blood, or Greg as he prefers to be called, reads up on more literature. Little do they know, while they rest their attacker will get back at them soon...

The Escape
With Rouki gone, the team moved to where the others went to and ended up in a sewer-like place. Kirby kept using his star projectiles to fend off Mawkins who were following them while Garnet helped the other Gems escape too, trying to use her vision to foresee any attacks from unexpected angles. Once they had fallen through the spot made by the other Gems everyone took their time to catch their breath.
Pearl: Is everyone else fine?
Garnet muttered to herself meanwhile.
Garnet: Amethyst, we'll bring you back to normal.
Kirby: Cheer up, we'll make it through this.
Bale: So what's next, anyone knows where we'll go now? We got a lot of bad guys on our tail.
Darrgon then spoke up to the others.
Darrgon: We need to be wary of Blood Moon as well. He will be troublesome in our current state.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

Well, not ceased to be, per say. (Greta says.) At this point, all of us in our gang except for Joaquin and Knox have experienced being fully Atomized, but we all came back, unless you foresaw him...completely getting rid of you.
I cannot imagine that Dark Stanford would be interested in keeping any of us around, at least in our original state, if he fully vaporizes us. (Sticky says.) The three of us, especially...
Right. We cannot let our guard down. They could be anywhere waiting to ambush us. (Colby says.) Bale is right, we must keep moving. The longer we sit here, the closer Blood Moon or someone else will get to us.
(He tries scanning around to find a safe path for their group to go.)
Man, I hope Cleo and the others are getting by okay. (Wanda says.) And that they weren't ambushed by a huge freaking army like we were.
With Chief Cleo's power and that of the others with them, I am sure they are faring well. (Sidon says.)
(Ben takes a moment to try to figure out what his newly-gained form and Power Suit can do.) Man, maybe I should find more alien DNA from other universes more often. (He remarks.)
You guys are troopers, as usual. (Tenn wheezes.)
Ah, thank you, Tenn! (Henry says, sitting down beside her a moment.) I am glad you are well. And I am glad you three are well, too, James!
ZDR (Cataris)
(The group journeys through Cataris, getting past a number of doors and avoiding lava.)
June, you sure don’t seem so surprised by the lava. (August says.)
Well, there was a lotta it on SR388, so we've had experience with it already. (June says, inching her way past some.)
(July is scared out of her mind, but follows Tokage's lead in avoiding the lava. Being the most agile of the three sisters, she doesn't have a whole ton of trouble making it across.)
(Cleo has little trouble avoiding obstacles, of course, since she simply levitates past most hazards. She also keeps an eye on the others so she can catch them if it looks like they’re going to fall. Joaquin and Veena do so as well.)
(Soon, they reach an unusual statue.)
This statue do anything, Fire Eyes? You need to become a ball again? (Knox asks.)

Well...there are certainly still more potions we could create. (Phoebe says.) As well as many books to read.

Great job, matey! Let's get it over here and see what's inside! (Oscar says, leaping over and bringing the chest over to the others.)
(Inside is a large number of gold coins and small gems! Oddly there seems to be a face-down photo inside as well.)
Oh, fantastic! We're rich! (Shelley giggles. Then she notices the photograph.) ...Wait, what's this?
(She reaches for it, only for Odessa to snatch it in a hurry.)
S-Silly me! How'd that get in there? (Odessa laughs, stuffing it into her mane.) A-Anyway, great job, mateys! You've gotten my treasure back, and in return, you're gettin' your ship back from us ghosts! Ain't that great?

"No. It is purely ornemental. But the entrance is quite narrow. I can get in with Morph Ball, but you will likely have to crawl your way to get to the other side." Fire Eyes answered Knox.
"Fantastic..." Freyja sarcastically said, given her tall physique.
"Yeah, it's clearly not friendly-looking... But hey, we faced worse." Alex said to CAC, attempting to stay positive.
"You're right." Tokage said before nodding at July, seeing that she was the most nervous of the group.
Once in the other side, the team got directly into Cataris's infernal caves. Magma was much more present, with even waterfall of magma in the background, and the temperature was by far the hottest in the entirety of ZDR. (reference?file=Kraid%27s_room_access_Cataris.jpg){kind=small}
◊). To the 'Brijes, it would feel quite similar to the similar volcanic corridors of Magmoor Caverns, back in Tallon IV.
"Oh wow... Almost feel like we're in Groudon's home." Alex remarked.
"T-Thank god for those ice armors... Even with them, I feel like I'm going to sweat. Girls, are you going to be okay?" Aaron askd the Zoroarks. Tokage wordlessly nodded. He was naturally nervous, but he managed to keep a cool head for July's sake.
On the way, the team would sometimes spot incomplete Chozo power suits
◊ suspended in the air. Fire Eyes quickly explained that it was from the intense heat that most of the Mawkin's armors were crafted, usually by their own wearers.
The droids were far less present, but despite the infernal environment, there were quite many hostile aliens: Vulkrans
, strange creature sticking to the walls that could spit balls of fire, Rock Divers
◊, ambushers that came from holes in the ceiling, Sclawks
◊, big worms that burrowed into the ground before lunging at the heroes the moment they would get too close. There were also some Magma Crabs
◊, but these strange snails were not hostile, and most of them leaped into the magma to escape.
At one point, the group came across what seemed to be strange big ores standing still.
Pirate Book
"Thanks, Cap'n." Lucian said with a smile. Oscar then opened the treasure and the Wooper gasped at all the coins and jewels in there. He also got intrigued by the photograph Dess snatched away, but he restrained himself from asking.
"Yeah. That's great." Lucian said to "Odessa", rubbing himself against Oscar.

Suddenly, the Library's floor shakes from the Arena's World Turtle waking up, and the ponies and witches instinctively hide under the tables and hold on tight to the table legs.
"What's happening?!" screams the pegasus colt.
"It's an earthquake!" shouts Justice. "But it'll be over soon! Just don't move!"
Rana and Mari prepare to deflect any falling debris from the other patrons with their spells.
ZDR
Sewers
"Then we hope that this is not the timeline where that happens!" says Garnet.
Cataris
"Good thing Lapis and I can temporarily shrink ourselves!" says Bismuth.
"While I'm... already just the right size for this." Peridot grumbles as she sees her teammates shrink down to her size.
After the trio crawl through the statue, Lapis and Bismuth grow back to normal size, and they continue following Fire Eyes through the magma caves.
"So ya have builders and smiths in your tribe too, huh?" Bismuth tells him. "That's what my Gem kind is built for! Ha!"
The team still stays on guard for more enemies until they reach the giant ores, and Bismuth turns her hands into mining picks.
"Are you sure about that?" asks Peridot.
"You bet I am! Doesn't hurt to gather some igneous rocks now!" she says as she raises her picks and gets ready to strike them.

And apparently they do, too! (Stella laughs, looking at Jay on the screen again.) In sort of the...you know..."more than just friends" sorta way.
Huh? (Verdi seems legitimately confused.)
Eh, don't worry about it for now. (Stella chuckles.)
(Several of the monsters that OT!Stanford sent spot Haban-Arrow's hideaway and start to approach it. They seem to realize that it is a nominator space.)
(All the while, Haban-Arrow are still napping in the nominator space's sleeping area. Surprisingly it has a number of beds of many different shapes and sizes. Seems whoever was here before anticipated having many different people and/or creatures here.)

(Everyone braces themselves during the sudden earthquake.)
Goodness! Is everyone alright? (Phoebe asks.)
(Everyone sounds off.)
...Mercy, we are having enough trouble as it is without sudden earthquakes... (Phoebe says.)
The heck was that? (Kenny asks as everyone upstairs gets back to their feet.)
It was a real shaker, that's what it was! (Heidi says.) Hope it wasn't that huge Metroid gettin' antsy.
Me either. I'd rather be back in my own body if that thing ruins this whole world. (Holly groans. She looks around.) Dammit, where's Marian?
(The other monsters OT!Stanford are still on their way to the Library, though they aren't there yet. As they go on, some of them semi-mindlessly mutter a few things, or rather, it sounds more like voices are just radiating off of them:)

(Knox, Joaquin, and Veena shrink down into their mortal forms to be able to squeeze through the opening (with Knox struggling the most since he's the tallest between the three). They are followed by the Pokémon. Curiously, August seems to have the easiest time getting through between the three Zoroarks, passing through with seemingly no effort whatsoever.)
Hey, when you weigh as much as I do, over time you figure out lots of different ways to squeeze through even the tiniest of spaces! (She claims after getting through, confidently patting her stomach.)
Whatever you say, August... (July says. She looks ahead with a sigh.) I was hoping we'd be done with lava at this point. This ice armor better not fail us.
Don't worry, July! I feel fine right now, so I think we've got this! (June says, squeezing Aaron tight before they get ready to keep moving.)
You'd better be right, June. (July says, moving back toward Tokage.)
Think we're ready for this! (August says, playfully nudging Alex's shoulder.) Where's the big purple Dragon-type, though?
(Knowing full well that she is entirely too big to get through the opening, Cleo is the last one through.) I suppose I must become fun-sized Cleo for this.
(She goes through the Mushrooms Wanda left her and tries to find a Mini Mushroom. As she searches, much to her surprise, she finds a green mushroom she doesn't recognize. She picks it up, curious, and it promptly disappears with the requisite sound effect.)
...How odd. (Cleo mutters, not realizing what it just did. Finally, she finds another Mini-Mushroom and takes it, becoming Mini Cleo once again (her ice armor conveniently shrinking with her). She scampers through the hole.)
Here I am. Shall we keep going? (Cleo asks after rejoining the others. By this point she is no longer bothered by her "mini" voice in this form.)
Yep! Let's go! (June says.)
This place reminds me of that other place on Tallon IV... (Veena comments as she, Joaquin, and Knox resume their alebrije forms and get moving with everyone else.)

(August mutters "Well excuse me for wondering..." as she presses on with the others.)
(At one point a Rock Diver drops from the ceiling right in front of July. She squeals in fright and quickly fells it with a well-aimed Night Slash.)

(She gives a brief anxious look at Fire Eyes. She doesn't want a repeat of what happened on Tallon IV where he was dying and she couldn't help him, especially with Joaquin or Knox.)

Tokage also looked at July, surprised by her reflexes.
"Auggy's right! That was awesome!" Alex said.
"Hey, we'll live through this, July. The six of us." Aaron reassured July with a smile.
"With her reflexes, we're one stepped closer from it." Tokage added, nodding at her.
Fire Eyes, suspicious, analyzed the ores from afar before widening his eyes.
"Wait, no! Don't come any closer!" Fire Eyes shouted to Bismuth. But it was too late as the "ores" started to take life.
They were the top predators of the area and they were called Obsydomithons
◊. While not as dangerous as the Corpius, those rock-like beings were very durable and could fire a high-temperature laser of intense heat at the group
◊. And Bismuth had awoken an entire pack of them.
Three of them ended up trampling on Bismuth and restrained her, preparing to melt her, while the others menacingly approached the group.
"ARE YOU KIDDING?? Even the rocks want to kill us in there!!" Alex shouted.
"Oh no... I hope they won't melt our armor." Aaron said.
"Damn it, they look tough... Fire Eyes, how do we beat those things?" Tokage asked.
"Try to strike in their maws when they are just about to fire. The timing is tight." the Chozo warned.

Lucian looked one last time at the foxes before going back to his friend's ship.
"Gehehe!! So you got the treasure back after all? Excellent job!" "Fred" said.

"GYEEEH!! That damn Metroid's about to go boom!!!" Edgar shrieked during the earthquake.
"I believe it is from the arena. Do not panic, please." Clyde said, unfazed, before checking on the teams with Ally.
Downstairs, Nyx was also surprised by the earthquake, but she kept her cool as she kept silently patrolling. And fortunately, the VL!Metroid didn't react either.
Much farther away, the group of Atomozoids was still approaching alongside Dark Stanford's monsters. The "special Atomozoid prototype", an E.M.M.I.
◊ that Raven Beak had Dark Stanford build after stealing plans from the Galactic Federation, took the lead of the group before leaving them to go on its own, by digging underground. It was bearing the same dreadful colors as its fellow Atomozoids, and it seemed it was... already storing atoms of something within itself. It would be the first one to reach it at this rate.
Before anything, Raven Beak, methodical as ever, had a special task for the E.M.M.I., to ensure that nothing in the library would escape the small army of monsters and robots before the attack.

Everyone slowly and carefully ducks out from hiding once they're sure the earthquake has stopped. The teen unicorn looks out the window and sees that there are now only a few tributes left.
"Nah, I think it was just Arena stuff a while ago," she says.
"But are y'all alright?" asks Justice.
"Y-Yes we are..." the younger ponies say, still shaking.
"If you're still scared, just stick with me, your parents, or any trusted grown-up, as long as nopony leaves this place!"
"O-Okay..."
"Looks like we have to stay here after all..." Rana tells Mari.
"I hope this isn't a bad omen..." she agrees.
Conference Room
Clyde is correct — it is just that the Database Library, and by extension, the entire Arena, is atop the carapace of the World Turtle the whole time, says Ally as calmly as the original Garnet she ducks out from under the table. HOWEVER, I predict other enemies associated with Dark Stanford Stokes approaching us.
She goes into her fighting stance and prepares to go downstairs if necessary.
But Holly Holster, you are correct. I was so hyperfocused on Mission Control duty that I was unable to detect Marian leaving this room. Do you have any theories as to the most likely location she transferred to?
Cataris
Bismuth tries backing away from the Obsydomithons, but they quickly stomp on her and pin her down. She struggles to get herself out and tries to strike their maws with her picks as soon as they open them.
"Nothin' more than takin' a few dents on my armor!" she tries assuring Lapis and Peridot.
But after being pinned by the Corpius, she doesn't realize that she's now more susceptible to their attacks.
"Fine, you can eat this, you clod!" Peridot shouts at the Obsydomithon as she prepares to throw her trash can lid at it.
Lapis just looks around for anything she can throw at the creature.

(Right away there's trouble, the rocks don't seem to be as harmless as they thought and go on the attack, holding Bismuth hostage.)

(The three Zoroarks fire off Night Dazes at one of the Obsydomithons, hoping they nail the timing.)
(Knox doesn't waste any time before firing off a fireball at the one closest to him the moment it starts to open its mouth.)
(Cleo quickly takes one of the Super Mushrooms and grows back to normal size. She tries to lift the Obsydomithons off Bismuth, but it's clear she is in need of rest because she seems to be having trouble moving them.) I need assistance!
Joaquin, I think it's going to be too dangerous for either of us to get close to those without getting hurt. And we need to save Bismuth! (Veena says.)
Yeah! (Joaquin tries to pry up a piece of the ground to throw at one of the Obsydomithons.)

Following Fire Eyes's advice. Aaron and Tokage opted to stay behind and use projectiles like Aura Sphere and Energy Ball, to better avoid their superheated attacks. Alex and Freyja were less bothered by it and they got close.
"Bismuth, hold up!" Alex exclaimed, tail swiping at an Obsydomithon at the right time. Fire Eyes did better, by parrying one of the creatures with his very arm before impaling it's maw, causing the creature to explode.
With everyone fighting, the pack's number started to go down. However, it seemed the battle's noises were attracting more Obsydomithons, as more of the rock-like aliens started to approach.

With a relieved sigh, Lucian sat down right next to Oscar and leaned against his much bigger friend, looking at the setting sun.

If Marian was hungry, she would have most likely gone to the mini-coffee shop on the 1st Floor, Ally tells Kenny.
And Edgar, I am already attempting to foresee where exactly our enemies will strike. Panicking will only make the situation worse.
She sends 6k1 a quick warning about the attack, telling her that she and the others will handle this for her. 6k1 wishes Ally the best and also informs her of Derrick's and Digger's data clones being nominated for the coming season. Ally then gets ready to move to where their enemies will arrive.

Lapis helps Joaquin throw the piece of dirt at one of the Obsydomithons, pitching it effortlessly with him despite her skinny build. Peridot then throws her lid at the one attacking Bismuth, and combined with Alex's and Fire Eyes' moves, the creature explodes, cracking her armor and coating it with soot.
Bismuth dusts off the ash and tries getting up, just when Lapis spots more Obsydomithons coming for them.
"We need to find the door. Now," she tells the team in a hushed voice.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
CAC: (Nods) No need to say it twice!
(Rushing Beat universe)
Norton: Well, now let's see! I guess I'll be sending the three most popular characters in the older GameFAQs contests as one tribute and a Pichu as the other.
(Norton and M-Frame data clone the four of them, and send them to the Arena)
Norton: As much as I hate to force Cloud to make an Enemy Mine with Sephiroth...
(In the Arena, Pichu shakes in fear from Sephiroth, defying all the fanarts that portray the two as friends. Sephiroth just looks around him, hoping the other tributes don't disappoint him. Even if it means working with Cloud or Lunk)

"That is a terrible idea. We still need to oversee and keep in contact with the teams on ZDR. Both are meeting with difficulties at the moment. And if Raven Beak and Dark Stanford should get their hands directly on the Database Library, it would be quite bad for us." Clyde said.

"On it, June!!" Aaron said, also using his Aura to sense the Obsydomithons coming as another wave attacked.
"Alex! Help Bismuth get up!" Tokage said, prompting the Charmeleon to help her.
Veena would quickly realize that there were no doors, at least doors that were close enough for the team without being forced to fight many of the aliens. However, she would feel a part of the ground that felt slightly weaker. Perhaps blowing it up would create a small hole for the team to escape.

"Oh yeah..." Lucian sighed, remembering everything that had happened in real life. He was so caught up in this adventure that he had forgotten. He hoped that the situation was better and that Aaron and June were alright.

Dividing myself into AL and LY to simultaneously monitor the team and defend the Database Library would reduce my combat capabilities by 50%. Unless I have no other choice but to perform this action, somebody else on Mission Control MUST remain here. Also, I would have to contact the Science Center's Travel and Communications Department to summon the portals for us should we fail to evacuate on time.

While Bismuth gets up with Alex's help, Peridot side-eyes CAC as she desperately looks for scrap metal to "feed" the Obsydomithons.

"We must go now!" shouts Lapis as she then urges everyone to follow her and Veena.

"GET BACK HERE, YOU COWARD!!!" Scipion furiously shouted at Rouki when Melba snatched him and left, only for Arthur to punch him in the face.
"HEY!!"
"Shut up, we don't have time for that! We'll take care of him later, we have to move!" Arthur insisted, he and the rest of the FBW being unnerved when they were warned about Blood Moon tracking them down.
"Gentlemen, remind me to properly thank those two giant beast if we see them again." James said once Golza left as well.
"Later James. We move, now!" Nick insisted. As they fled, the Cinderace fired a Pyro Ball at the soldier preventing Pearl from leaving. Though the Chozo protected herself with ease with her shield, that allowed Pearl to escape. As for the one fighting Sidon, he had been caught off-guard by Ben's punch from behind, allowing their escape as well.
"You dare claim the body of a Mawkin?! You will drown in your own blood, human!!" the soldier shouted at Ben.
With everyone reuniting with the 'Brijes and the Red Squad, they eventually broke from the Mawkin army's circle. But this wasn't over yet, as they still gave chase. Golden Fish himself didn't, though, having been forced to retreat because of the Red Squad and staying behind to tend to his injured subordinate.
"Okay! We're out of here!" Nick said.
"Yeah, nice, but WHERE THE FUCK DO WE GO?? Those assholes are still chasing us!!" Scipion exclaimed, pointing at several energy projectiles of all kinds being fired from behind.
James put on his nictitating membranes, the Inteleon frantically trying to find somewhere, anywhere where the team could hide. He eventually found some kind of weak spot on the floor behind an abandoned tower just after a corner. Perhaps if they reached it before they would be spotted...
"James??" Nick exclaimed as James rushed inside and fired a Snipe Shot at it, creating a very tight hole.
"Hurry, everyone, before they catch up to us!!" the Inteleon urged.
After a moderate fall, the team would end up in a very tight room plunged mostly in the dark. (here's a reference, more or less
) They were likely in some kind of sewers.
Elevator->Cataris
"Ungh... I knew I was not going to like it..." Tokage sighed, shaking his head as Bismuth put the armors on the Pokémons.
"I think they are good. But there's only one way to find out." Aaron said as the elevator stopped.
The team entered what seemed to be the middle of a hot industrial station (reference
◊). They could see some pipes transporting magma around. There was a Thermal Door, blocking the way, and a thermal power flow machine as well.
The heat was just as hot as it was back when the bridge wasn't destroyed yet. Fortunately, even Tokage seemed fine for now.
"So... I guess we just need to hit that door really hard too?" Alex asked. Fire Eyes shook his head and inserted his arm into the machine, redirecting the magma into another set of pipes, causing the door to unlock.
"Not necessarily. Come now." the Chozo said.

"Cap'n? Is something wrong?" Lucian asked after a moment. The Wooper got very worried when Oscar deduced that the foxes were trying to trick them.
Naturally, he got startled when the two foxes prepared to fire at them. Trusting Oscar, Lucian immediately fired the biggest Mud Shot he could manage in this form towards the cannon's opening.
