A spotted hyena is also looking through the job listings, but doesn't notice the armadillo and accidentally bumps into him.
"Sorry! I'm so sorry!" he says, backing up.
"Oh, it's okay!" the armadillo says to the hyena. "Were you looking at the job listings, too? I just noticed that they put up a bunch of new ones today."
The hyena calms down. "Yeah... I've only done one or two of these before, but I'm really short on money right now."
(What comes is a 12-year-old female rabbit)
"Uh... hi."
"Yeah, me too..." the armadillo says to the hyena.
"Hello there... are you lost?" he asks the rabbit girl.
"Oh... yeah, need any help?" says the hyena. He's looking around for the rabbit's parents.
A stag in a blue hoodie who was also looking at the bulletin board would overhear the conversation.
"Yeah, where are your parents?"

A raccoon in their late teens walks by them.
A porcupine comes porcupin-ing up.
"Hi, it's Rachel."

"Hi, Alivia... are you by yourself? Where are your parents?" asks the armadillo.
(A ginger cat comes walking.)
"Hello?"
(A short dinosaur with purple and pink skin is reclining against a building not far from the billboard as if waiting for someone to notice her standing there. She appears to be a velociraptor-like dinosaur clad in a brown mage hat, a brown cape, pointy shoes, and some very ridiculous-looking magenta sunglasses.)
(Upon seeing so many other folks gathering around the bulletin board, though, she quickly saunters over.) Hey! Are all of you looking for jobs on that thing or what? (She calls.)
The stag took a step away from the crowd.
"Oh, hello!" the hyena says to the cat and the dinosaur. "I guess we're all here for jobs, huh?" He laughs like a hyena, but nervously. "Uh... nice to meet you all!"
“Hello” the fox looked around nervously.
"Nice to meet you all, too!" says the armadillo. "Yeah, I'm not very experienced myself, but there are a few interesting job postings for exploring some areas around here. I've never done anything this big before, though."
"Hey there," he says to the fox.

Pleasure's all mine! (The dino says to the hyena, beaming.)
(She quickly turns her attention to the bulletin board.) Any jobs in particular you guys were looking at?
Oh, hello everyone! My name is Percy.
"Well, I do have parents, but apparently, I have turned into a rabbit for no reason."

"Huh... well, I guess a lot of strange things happen here..."
Just so you know, Alivia, I think we're playing this game so that we've always been our characters.
"Anyway... hi, my name's Jack."
Hey, guys! This my first ITT, and I'm still not sure if I'll be able to run it well, but I'll try my best. The idea is that our characters are all Funny Animals. You can be any species you want, including mythical or made-up ones. Other than that, the only rules are being respectful toward other players and not making your character too OP. Many thanks to DrNoPuma and PresidentStalkeyes for helping me come up with ideas for this thread.
Our story takes place in a world populated entirely by various anthropomorphic animal species. Many years ago, civilization in this part of the world experienced a collapse caused by an outbreak of monsters whose origin remains unknown. With limited resources and few who are capable of handling the dangerous creatures, the towns rely on the help of those who are brave and experienced enough to venture outside the walls. Although these jobs are a decent source of income, it's often hard to find someone willing to do them.
In the town square of one of the largest settlements in this region, a young armadillo quietly peruses one of the bulletin boards where job offers and help requests are posted.
