Unclear Description: Man In White

Crowner update: 10:0 for redefine, 7:2 for subtrope of Light Is Not Good, 4:2 for supertrope to Fat, Sweaty Southerner in a White Suit, all other options in red.

I realize renaming wasn't included in the original crowner even though it was discussed in the thread; added the option.

I agree with the addition of a rename option. Woman In White's thread currently has a rename crowner due to that trope having the same issue of the name making it sound broader than it actually is.

"Redefine to be about Wicked Cultured villains who wear white" is callable at 11:0. "Redefine as a subtrope to Light Is Not Good" is at 8:2. Not sure why the difference, as the first implies the second.

Rename is at 8:1. I strongly encourage people to vote for this one, as the name as it is is incredibly vague, and implies that any and all examples of a man wearing white fit the trope (which is People Sit On Chairs).

The top three options all have consensus. Can the crowner be called?

Is Villain in a White Suit good with people for a new name? Other suggestions?

I think Villain In White would also work (it's at least more indicative than the current name), but maybe Villain in a White Suit would get the point across better.

I'm good with Villain in a White Suit.

I didn't like the sandbox, and rather than go through why I had issues with individual parts, I just wrote a new one and added it beneath yours.

I like this a lot, although is Fat, Sweaty Southerner in a White Suit a subtrope? There was disagreement earlier on in the thread, and the crowner option was only 6:2 in favor. I no longer have a strong opinion one way or another. The Rich Have White Stuff could also be related.

Crowner wasn't strongly in favour, but the mod post said, "each option in the green". I'll add a "See Also" line for The Rich Have White Stuff. Any objections to categorizing it as a supertrope?

I added an examples section to the sandbox culled from the main page. There's a folder at the bottom for examples I'm not sure about. Most of these are examples of villains wearing white suits that either lack example context or don't seem to quite fit the chessmaster/mob boss archetype. Should these be included?

Skimming over the sandbox... I agree with your sorting. Out of the ZCE, the only ones that I can tell might fit are Film series Magneto (but these are prison clothes, so I'm not sure) and Ladd Russo (I will add proper context soon after this post).

Went ahead and made a crowner for the rename.

I changed the wick on Sandbox.Appearance Tropes Cleanup to match the new name.

Edit: Also, I think the sandbox for this thread looks fine.
