Beast Folk is actually a redirect to Beast Man, which has 700 wicks.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Fixed it in the crowner... then again, 60 wicks versus 770 (60 plus 710) might a bit daunting for some.
That said, if we work together, we can knock this out quickly.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!"Leave as is" is not an option, as that's what will happen if we have no consensus for anything. But whatever we do, we'll have to either keep a Non-Indicative Name or move 2,000 wicks.
I still think Petting-Zoo People is redundant with Funny Animal, Beast Man, and other tropes like Lizard Folk.

I fixed the crowner, or at least did the best I could with copying and pasting from the history.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The crowner's been up for two months, and currently the only option with a positive ratio (merge Petting-Zoo People into Beast Man) is also unanimous.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The wicks should be moved then. Move animal-related examples to Funny Animal and alien-related to Beast Man?

I think we should wait for a mod to call the crowner before carrying out the changes. I already hollered my previous post to ask for mod input.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Nah, its more realistic versions with far more human features looks and such would go on Beast Men. Mostly to the point where it could easily be little more of a real person with fur, claws, tails and rubber facemask under it. There is no Aliens is way the wrong word to use as that only apllies to Sci Fi.
Also they are a real race of people almost always tribal and among humans, often subject of racism and other such things. Might be a member of the Five Races, intelligence levels vary massively though depending on the example.
Funny Animal are not realistic at all and are more singular beings, or in small numbers, and far FAR less human like and more cartoon.
Calling merge into Beast Man.
Let's get started.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportIs it possible to move the contents of Laconic.Petting Zoo People to Laconic.Beast Man? I'm cut listing the Laconic and PlayingWith pages.
By the way, this led me to clear out sinkholes in Laconic.Star Fox and Laconic.Bojack Horseman. Those pages were nearly All Blue Entries before I cleaned out the wicks.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!I don't get it. Many current examples of Petting Zoo People are intended to be animals, just anthropomorphic animals. Wouldn't those be merged with Funny Animal? For example, Goofy is a Funny Animal according to Wikipedia.
Which he is yes. There is no 'Goof race', even in Goof Trope they were just stand-ins for humans.
The lack of bones and other such unrealistic features in the way he is drawn is another big sign.
Question: What is a minotaur supposed to fall under? They're biological hybrids.
No, that's the issue - there's a pothole linking to Petting-Zoo People on A Loadof Bull. Where do I link it to?
Beast Man is all I can think of at the moment. I mean, they are pretty much humanoid beasts, so I don't think anyone would question them being called beast men.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Would Launchpad McQuack from Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck qualify as Funny Animal or as Beast Man? He is contextually the same species as his co-stars Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck and Darkwing Duck, but far more anthropomorphic: while Scrooge, Donald and Darkwing are about 4 feet tall, have a sack-like body shape and a duck-like lower body that is not covered by pants or shoes, Launchpad is about 6 feet tall, has a humanlike Heroic Build, and wears pants and boots. Even his head is slightly more humanlike, with a beak shaped like a Lantern Jaw of Justice and a tuft of red "hair" on his head, whereas the other ducks have beaks shaped like a regular duck bill and their "hair" is as white as the rest of their body.
This is a question because despite his very different character design, Launchpad is treated in the show as the same type of duck-person as anyone else, who clearly fall into the Funny Animal category.

They're biologically supposed to be ducks, right? If yes, Funny Animal; if no, Beast Man.
So, the consensus now is that the splitting line is not regarding how humanlike they are, but rather whether they are considered as anthropomorphic animals (Funny Animal) or humanoids with animal-like features (Beast Man)?
Also, they are not examples of Bird People despite being humanoid birds.
Yes. I hope that's the consensus, otherwise I just did a lot of work for nothing.
Also yes. IIRC they're supposed to be ducks and not a species with no evolutionary/genetic link to ducks that happen to look like ducks.
It's Depending on the Writer - they're either anthropomorphic ducks or humans seen through a Furry Lens.
