Tropers: The Series

(Tales is suddenly accosted by a family of cosplayers. The dad, mom, older daughter, son, and younger daughter are cosplaying Tales himself, Tsunku, Anne Nonymous, Tales’s college-attending adoptive son, and Five.)

“I am more than a little freaked out by this. On the other hand, I do enjoy a good ego-stroking....”

Steph blinks slowly as some cosplayers stare at her. Her stomach dropped like a stone, "Uh, hello?"

"Ah, I don't think the Q and A starts yet. Just say hi and they'll be fine"

Avie waves to the audience

"Hello all! I'm Steph! And I have my many characters here to answer your questions!"

"i want to leave."

"I'm Junon. And this is Medusa and Marcia."

"It's n-nice to, um, meet you all"

"   Likewise.   "

The convention-goers swarm Medusa and Marcia.

"My name is Chey, the most American-sounding Time Lady there is..."
(Cue applause from some of the convention-goers.)
"And I'm Ford Prefect."
(Chey and Ford then look at each other and kiss. The convention-goers cheers and applauds at them.)

"Just ignore that kiss! The name's Alivia Champ, originally from Corinna, how do you do?"

"And I'm Zanreo!" Zanreo says as she takes her wig off and puts her glasses back on. "Feel free to ask me anything! ...Well, almost anything."

Bob removes his costume.

"I would be sweating in that damned thing if I could."

Some creepy lady with skeleton makeup runs up to Bob, kisses him, and then runs away squealing.

"What. The fuck."

"Hello all! I'm Aveyond, and I'm so excited to meet you all"

Avie stands on her toes to kiss Tropes cheek. The crowd goes nuts

“Step right up, and I’ll give you my autographed Pokèmon cards!”

(The crowd remains silent and uninterested.)

“....I’ll throw in a broken mirror.”

(The crowd goes wild.)

Tabby just looks at the chaos happening right now ominously

"Uh......... I don't wanna.... I don't wanna"

“My name is Arimo the Reindeer, but everybody calls me, Arimo.”

”That reference wasn’t funny the first time you made it!”

“And this...is of course, Baryl.”

Aww yeah! I’m a Baryl of fun! And laughter! And monkeys! I’m Baryl, fully loaded!

“I’m Arimo, and, you can ask craaaazy stuff to me! Well...almost crazy stuff....”

After a while, Galaxy starts Becoming the Mask: "Fudge it, I'll stay."

Puma slowly ambles in, shocked at the applause they're getting.

"Huh. People watch us?"

Puma looks over the crowd nervously. Well, if they throw tomatoes or something, at least I can make references to that one scene from Batman Returns.

Among the crowd, a lass screams out.

"FOUND Y'ALL. I FOUND Y'ALL."

With a push and a shove, the lass gets in front of the crowd and reveals herself to be.

Well, it's the same actress as Beverly, but the contract says it's a different character.

"Found y'all. Sup, y'all? Doin' good? You won't believe how long I've been looking for you. I got a special mission for you that only you can fulfill."

“Wait, do I know you from somewhere?”

"Wait... Who are you?"

"No, of course you don't! And who I am isn't important." She sighs. "Listen. What's important now is the mission you must execute."

She takes a stern look, like she's about to snap. "If this isn't done, I don't know what's going to happen. There's dire consequences from straying from the path."

That causes Steph to stare, "Oh, but we have a convention to attend, we'd love to stay but since there are questions to ask, we better answer them."

"Oh, hello there! My name is Chey. What's your name?"
(Chey then smiles and shakes the newcomer's hand.)

The newcomer, however, does not raise a hand to shake.

She instead raises a simple, blank piece of paper.

"... Your autographs, please. A fan wanted them."

Taco enters the fray. "Pass the paper over to me, adoring fan, I've got a pen."
