Tropers: The Series

Tropes Forever enters though the doorway at the exact moment Puma exits, and smacks into him.

"Oh, sorry Puma! I didn't see you there."

"Alright, could you please summon him here, as soon as possible?" Steph's voice was calm, but with an intense edge to it.

"Sorry, Tropes. I would say 'long time no see,' but I have no idea how long it's actually been. So, hi!"

Marcia calls Dr. Doppler.

"He'll be here in a bit."

"It's a wonderful choice Chey"

Avie steps out, her hair done up

"Does it look okay?"

"Smeg yeah! Hope it'll hold up until wedding day."
(Chey sighs happily.)
"God, I can't smegging believe I'll be walking down the aisle and marrying my best friend in just three days!"

"Should be. Chick said just told me not to move around so much in bed. Anyway, what's next?"

"The final dress fitting!"
(Chey squees.)

They walk out the hairdressers. Avie smiles wide

"Shall we go round up the wedding party?"

(Chey then pulls out her megaphone.)
"Let's find 'em."

Arimo and Baryl walk out as well.

”How does my hair look? Hm? Hm? Hey, is there gonna be a band at the wedding? Is there gonna be food? Hey, how many people are showing up?”

Avie giggles

"Dang Baryl we've been planning this for months, how do you not know? Also you look great"

A portal opens a sizeable distance from the ground, out of which drops Bob, heavily damaged and missing an arm. He faceplants on the sidewalk, followed by Satan calmly floating to the ground next to him.

"Now, what did we learn?"

Bob sighs.

"Don't skip work without getting permission."

"Oh hey Bob! Hey Luci, you treating my sister right?"

Satan smiles and nods.

"As if she deserves anything less."

Bob waves, a couple of his fingers falling off.

"Christ, did you really have to be that rough?"

"Had to be sure you'd learned your lesson."

"I'm so glad, thank you Satan. Um.. We should probably glue Bob back together before the wedding.."

Bob struggles to his feet.

"Nah, nah, I've got it."

He gathers up what pieces he can find and starts reattaching them.

"Satan, did you see where my other arm went?"

Satan shrugs.

"God damn it. Do you know how much of a pain in the ass it is having to regenerate parts from scratch? It'll take me a few hours, at least!"

"Does it look like I care?"

"Come on, y'all! Time is money!"
(As soon as they reached the apartment building Chey yelled into her megaphone...)
"OH, LAAAAADIIIIIIES!!! Y'ALL UP FOR A FINAL DRESS FITTING???"

Back at the apartment, Dr. Doppler has arrived. He's trying to study Steph.

"What's the situation so far, doc?"

"I'm afraid she has the cold virus..."

"I k-knew that. What's the c-cure?"

"Patience, Young one!"

Steph just sits there silently and tiredly, not saying a word since the episode started. It seemed the cold had sapped her energy levels. The sound of machinery slowing down would be heard.

Dr. Doppler finishes and hands Steph a perscription.

"That'll be 50 Tropers credits."

Marcia pays.

Avie, Chey, Bob and Satan arrive at the apartment

"Alright.. Let's get fitting!"

I am at the apartment, chilling on the couch as if I had never left.

"Sup, yall. What color should I wear for the wedding?"

Steph swallows the (still glowing) purple tablets with a glass of water that Doctor Doppler prescribed, "Alright, let's see if this cure works in a few hours..." she remarks quietly.
