Uh, my next Mortal Kombat tributes are Taven◊ and Daegon◊, but given how controversial Season 230 was, I'm afraid of the RNG pairing them together, given they're brothers. On the bright side, they're enemies, so one killing the other won't be as bad as Papyrus killing Sans or Mario killing Luigi.

No, I do not think we should sterilize the trope page. One of the primary reasons I wanted a Continuity Reboot in the first place is because I do not want the trope page to be cleansed. We keep the bad things, so that those that comes later will learn from its mistakes.

So let me recap gag save 1: Meta Knight does shit including losing an arm while Futaba gets three memes (Falcon Punch, Waluigi Time and over 9000) and somehow saves a relationship. She also technically dies to loot box the bane of players. Poor girl suffers a heartbreak and ultimately dies to tuna fish.

Considering the gamer Futaba is she'd totally try a Falcon Punch (for reference she calls some guy she finds forgettable "an NPC") and possibly also a bit of meme trashlord.

I find it weird that she just let humilitation of PC go like that and didn't try to rig the cooking contest in its favor. She is a hacker after all, and even displays her prowess by playing Infinite.

She also wins two arm-wrestling contests, one while being shrunk. And places fourth in third gag save!

Persona: Kirby Edition. They would have quite the work with Dark Matter...

And then she becomes the mass murderer of that gag save.

I’d be fine with a Continuity Reboot, as long as we still get to keep records of the stuff that’s happened in this iteration of the game.

Also, I hope my avatar isn’t making anyone uncomfortable - I’m just using it to kind of vent. I’m happy to replace it if anyone wants.

I'm personally fine with it. Even though a character of mine does terrible shit, I'm still willing to use them later. Of course, we all learn from experience.

Oh yeah, the reboot idea. Since I already had a bit of wall on Futaba over there, might as well make a new post.

I had terrible luck including few Fourth Place curses after some promising tributes, with only one podium that wasn't even a winner.

So eh, whatever, I have been around only for like two dozen seasons or about three months. Not much to say on the matter.

if this is how it has to go, at least I have Futaba doing the shit before it all gets rebooted.

Rebooting might be the best coarse of action, and in that transition time I can promotes this page on google plus. I refuse to promote it rn because of the questionable content on this forum, so we start it over, fresh clean family(ish) content.

EDIT-Reboot would also be good in defining clear rules nomination restrictions,database organization, user friendly navigation and all that good stuff so we wont have to reboot again.

It’s actually pretty easy to forget that Arcada is the one who created this thread We definitely need some rules and expectations outlined in the OP, though.

And to be honest, I’m not sure if I want to ever nominate Gundham again. I guess the fact that the Ultimate Breeder of all people ended up getting involved in an event involving beastiality that shook this entire thread is too much for me. Hell, to be completely honest and blunt, this Season almost ruined Gundham as a character for me.

Speaking of, would any of you guys say that Whizzing Arrow essentially giving Gundham divine judgement is a Crowning Moment Of Awesome in an otherwise controversial season?

One thing's for sure: When the reboot comes, this thread will be missed. Not the controversial events, mind you, but the thread in general. For all the bad moments we had, we had a bunch of good moments.

But with the reboot happens I hope it's smooth sailing from there.

I think so, yeah.

I once played as Papyrus even after he dunked his brother. I warned everyone here, but since no one responded, I kinda guessed they understood already.

And... As heartbreaking as it sounds, I guess we can end the Original Generation at a solid 250 with a Grand Finale. We need a good host and runner to capture this moment.

Also, the final Battle Royale will be in Season 240, which will be our 19th, much to my disappointment. As for the 8th and final Death Battle, we might have to reduce it to 24 or 36 depending on how many more mass murderers we get. But the grand finale must be on the 250th.

And there are three things that I wanna see before this thread ends:

1. To see it reach 30,000 posts.
2. To see Toriel or Carlos make the podium. I would nominate them every other season out of desperation, but that might just annoy everyone here.
3. To see box!Mettaton nominated. I mean, why hasn't his original form been here yet?!

And I don't mind if this thread doesn't live long enough to see me nominate Lilo, but I can just continue where I left off in the new thread.

The one thing I wanna see before the end of the Original Generation is a My Hero Academia hero making the podium. I’d love it if the hero to break the MHA Hero Curse is Eijirou, who is one of my two favourite characters of all time (my other one, Kazuichi, is already on the Hall of Fame). I’d also love to see Fuyuhiko break out of his own Butt-Monkey status and join Kazuichi on the Ho F, but above all, I just want an MHA hero to be a podium finisher already! Maybe the Hero Season could be our final themed season in this thread?

Yes! The bootleg Ten 10 making the podium was pretty cool, but he’s technically not an actual Ben 10 tribute (similar to how Rabbit is technically not an actual MHA tribute).

I'd like to see Roman Torchwick make one last podium finish before the finale, and I also wanna try hosting another season before then 'cause my first and only attempt so far didn't go so well.

gonna see if i can get a barebones/minimal viable product version of this html5 (construct2) custom hunger games sim engine up before season 250 rolls in.
