I loved 1+1=Ed. I kind of feel like it's cheating, though, since it was a deliberate BLAM Episode.

The Void from Wander Over Yonder.
The episode of KND where Nigel is the president and the one where he gives the report about the origins of adults.
Little Gift Shop of Horrors from Gravity Falls.
Their are too many to name from adventure time.
I had an accident from Spongebob(specifically when the Gorrila is introduced into the story).
The Money is weird even for Amazing world of Gumball standards though I think some other episodes stand out as surreal.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Dexter and Computress get Mandark, Operation R.E.P.O.R.T., and Say Uncle all come to mind.
I think we have a trope about this topic too.

"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"I think "The Mysterious Voyage of our Homer" from Simpsons Season 8 is one really weird episode.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!"Nightmares & Daydreams" from Avatar: The Last Airbender. After watching that episode, I said to myself "I am never pulling an all-nighter again."
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I second 1+1+Ed as being a work of genius. "A three headed Rolf....yawn."
Also almost any episode of Adventure Time, but can anyone name the episode with the spank-crazy troll who has his eyes stuck in his beard? That one was just plain deranged, especially the music number, which was like trying to have a Disney Acid Sequence over a Disney Acid Sequence.

Going in the opposite direction here, 'Zim Eats Waffles'. For a show that's always so over the top, such a low key episode is kind of a shocking turn.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here."I Had an Accident" from Spongebob was extremely bizarre in retrospect.
I think "To Love a Patty" trumps it...
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!To love a patty was coherent and stuck to something. I had an accident is goes from one set piece to another with strange gags in between(like Pat's life like video game, everything about the gorrila and zebra, the bizarre fourth wall gag at the end, the snorkling tree, Spongebob seeing a lot very enthusiastic spankers, etc)

My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013I was talking about plotwise. Since "To Love a Patty" has Sponge Bob falling in love with a sandwich...
Anyways, lets get back on topic.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The "Spongebob BC (before comedy)" episode was really bizarre. It's like, didn't it end with a music number where a robot and caveman sang together in Patchy's house?
Don't listen to that guy! He's trying to lead you down the path of righteousness. I'm gonna lead you down the path that rocks.Though I suppose All Just a Dream episodes don't really count, do they? They're supposed to be weird.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I hear Saddlesore Galactica from Simpsons is pretty weird.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! You mean the Jockey Elves episode? Yeah, the Scully era episodes are downright surreal. "The Computer Who Wore Menace Shoes" sticks out in my mind, if only because it turns into an odd parody of The Prisoner. The episode also doesn't really have an ending, as the Simpsons are drugged and brought back to the island, the koala drugs the audience, roll credits.

You heard right.
Homer: Did that really happen? Or was it all just a wonderful dream?
Murderous Troll: No dream, fatass! Lose the race!
Homer: D'oh!
I did see that episode, but I haven't watched it in years.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!"A Gel For Johnny" from Johnny Bravo: The last of the three segments of the first episode of the retooled Johnny Bravo show. Which is saying something because the whole series can be weird at times and the first segment of that episode deals with him "captured" by space babes. But this segment just told me at the time that this series from now on is going to be fucking weird. Especially with that mind screw ending that implies this episode is going to be on a Groundhog Day loop.
"Rashomoron" from also Johnny Bravo: I get the fact the stories are told from each of the characters perspective but the fact that the thing with the robot, unicorn and possibly Algea monster Johnny is all real? The fuck.
"Runway Train" from Johnny Bravo ending: You know, there seems to be an uncanny amount of Gainax type endings in the retooled Johnny Bravo show. Anyway, this one is weird for me because of my destroyed Suspension of Disbelief. Johnny manage to somehow hijack a multi billion dollar rocket train funded by government that should of been under heavy protection, drive at a speed that should of killed him as he stick his head out of the window, drive it off rail causing trillions of dollars of property damage that makes the complaints of the destruction in Man of Steel look like a joke, somehow launching said train into space inevitably ending a massive alien invasion as he pulls on the train horn like some sort of trucker, lands on Earth safely without a single scratch on the train (did I mention he drove a train in to space with no oxygen tank whatsoever) and when he notice he is about to hit a giant steel wall he use his mother insane strong fruit cake as an anchor that manage to somehow pick up a shit load of buildings and monuments!
. . . Okay maybe that episode was more Crazy Awesome then BLAM, but it was still pretty weird. And to think people would always site Ed, Edd n Eddy as THE Cartoon Network show that has absolutely no logic.

True. Just look at Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Dexter was pretty much a straight forward show about a kid using science for mundane situation; once season 3 hit it just became wacky.
PPG was just an action comedy staring female protagonists with occasional dark/mature content; and that became a straight up comedy series once it gain new animation.
And Billy&Mandy was just a dark comedy cartoon series which became . . . I want to say wackier, but it also amps up on some of its nightmare aspects so I guess it evolves in its black comedy.
Now for some non-Johnny Bravo episodes I found weird:
That one episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy where they tell Johnny and Plank how they got in his wall: Sorry, don't know the name; but this episode is weird for the same reason of Rashomoron (save for the robot and unicorn). Especially once it gets to Ed's story. Hell, Eddy even lampshades it.
"Billy & Mandy vs. The Martians": As a part of that whole "Alien Week" gimmick Cartoon Network pulled, it was bound to be weird. Hell all the shows who made an episode for alien week (with the exception for Fosters and Camp Lazlo, the former for pulling it off a believable episode that could be seen as a stand alone and the latter for already being a weird show) could count for weird episodes. But this one takes it for doing crazy shit by saying that aliens in all of those episodes are from the moon and wanted cheese so they can turn into werewolves to conquer the Earth . . . that is the theory Billy (yes Billy) made for the aliens and he is right! Its a good sign that you are in for a weird as hell episode if Billy is right about something. And lets not forget how it was resolved: Grim follow through with Billy's dumbass idea to become Dairy Themed super hero team to fight the alien werewolves . . . the previous alien episode of this series has a more plausible plot and resolution than this episode.
"The Apprentice Scouts" from Chowder: Man, Cartoon Network has so many weird episodes from weird shows. Its no wonder I accept Uncle Grandpa with open arms, as that show is practically the epitome of all Cartoon Network shows.
But god this episode was beyond weird, mostly because of the lengths Gazpacho went to prove he is a good scout master by helping the kids earn their napkin folding badge. In short he takes them out to the woods (which isn't necessary) by having them hitch a ride on some kind of giant (Dune worm riding style), gets overly upset over the kids folding it the wrong way, Chowder assumes he has some kind of infectous disease and save his "friends", Gazpacho develops bat wings and hawk visions, Chowder finds a fish that happens to be a carpenter that builds him a boat and banana cannon to escape Gazpacho, and the Sun wants to kill the kids.
Honestly this was a normal episode for Chowder, but still: weeeeeeird.

Actually "Billy and Mandy Moon the Moon" was from CN's Invaded, not "Martians". But, that series did produce some weird episodes for the shows taking part in it.
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"My favorite part of "1+1=Ed" was when Eddy removed Sarah's mouth from her face. God, that cunt deserved it.
I'm not talking so much visual-wise as I am just from the High Concept of that particular episode.
For example, I really felt that "One + One = Ed" of the cartoon "Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy" was very strange. Where the characters loses their outline and it just didn't make any sense. It felt very psychedelic.
Any such episodes in your opinion? Or perhaps weirder?
