I don't really like that title for the same reason as Sep, too much like a line of dialogue.
Well, sorted the examples. Forgot how easy it would be. See Sandbox.Adoptive Peer Parent, Sandbox.Supernaturally Young Parent, and Sandbox.Mum Looks Like Your Sis. Remember that the first and third types mentioned here go on Teen Pregnancy and Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome.
What's the word on the title of that last one? I'm fine with it as is, but if it's going to be an issue, I can get on board with changing it.
How about Peer Looking Parent?
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Peer Parent Resemblance, possibly? Custom-titled to "Peer/Parent Resemblance"...
That's too close to Adoptive Peer Parent. I prefer Mom Looks Like a Sister if we need to change it.
Do we? Title seems fine.
Mom Looks Like a Sister, to go with Dude Looks Like a Lady? Fun.
That's good enough for me.
Bump. Anyone against Mom Looks Like a Sister, or can we go with it? Well, I suppose it would be Mum Looks Like a Sister.
We could call it Sisterly Mother.
That sounds more like a personality thing than an appearance thing.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI agree: "Sisterly Mother" sounds like a mother that behaves like a sister, and doesn't have to look like one.
Sisterly Mother seems more like behaviour, yes. There is something that I don't like about @60 (maybe that it sounds artificial?) but it's acceptable.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWould Sister Mother Confusion work any better than Mom Looks Like a Sister?
No, that title is confusing. Honestly, all of these sound worse than the current title. I mean, it's not great, but it's clearer than anything we've come up with as a replacement.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSister Mother Confusion (shouldn't it be hyphened? "Sister-Mother Confusion"?) sounds like it's about somebody's mother getting confused for his or her sister. I suppose that is a trope in itself, and it could be a consequence of an Absurdly Youthful Mother, but it's not the same thing.
Or it could be someone's sister being confused for their mother. The name is vague.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI guess we need a crowner after all, then, if there's this much discussion.
Hooked.
Still liking Mom Looks Like a Sister better than Like Your Sis. I think it has better rhythm, IMHO.
Bump for votes. We've got pretty clear consensus, but we're under the recommended 15 vote margin.
Bump. Crowner looks like consensus for Mum Looks Like a Sister. Any complaints about Sandbox.Adoptive Peer Parent, Sandbox.Supernaturally Young Parent, or Sandbox.Mum Looks Like Your Sis (which will be named Mum Looks Like a Sister when launched)? If not, I'll swap them in, with the subtropes listed on Absurdly Youthful Mother as:
- Adoptive Peer Parent: Parents remarried, adoption, or gained custody through other means.
- Mum Looks Like a Sister: The parent looks younger, or the child looks older. Closely related to Older Than They Look and Younger Than They Look.
- Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome: Children are born, then their age is retconned.
- Supernaturally Young Parent: Time Travel, Magic, Bizarre Alien Biology or Immortality are involved.
- Teen Pregnancy: Pregnancy at a young age is clearly implied or stated.
Now there's one last thing: Did we ever decide on whether to do a disambiguation/index, or a supertrope?
No, on the supertrope-or-disambig question.

Crown Description:
Mom Looks Like Your Sis would be a redirect, but our policy on American vs British language is "Whoever gets there first." shima suggested Mum Looks Like Your Sis, so it gets to be the main title.
Other than sorting the examples, are there any problems here? I should hopefully be able to do that today.
