place a bunch of dragons in charge of the democracy
see how long they’ll last
Miles Edgeworth
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…I honestly think the cast of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid would make awful leaders with them being so unaware of the people around them.
How do you think this would pan out?
I've got a pin I found on Etsy that says "Spock for President". I feel like he would have good policies on some fronts anyway.
Cthulhu, since the "Cthulhu for president" meme shows up every four years.
Sans. Memers would love him, and he's smarter than he seems and has a strong moral code.
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.Okay, we all know who we want as president now, but who would you want running as a whole ticket? Who is your POTUS and their vice president, their reliable Number Two? The person they'll pick to be their running mate and, God forbid, their successor should something go wrong? Doesn't even have to be from the same story.
Looking at US history from the past century, I'd go for either Jean-Luc Picard or Homer Simpson. Picard stands for the potential for greatness and the betterment of all humanity, that the US has shown from time to time, whenever it looks like Star Trek might become reality in a few years. Homer, on the other hand, represents the mediocrity whenever the US fails to reach said potential and half-asses everything. Not out of genuine malice, but rather out of laziness and short-sightedness, because even then there has been a well-meaning side to try to do good.
Their respective V Ps would naturally be Riker and Marge.
Ooh, speaking of Undertale, I'd like to also nominate Toriel.
Ben: Yeah, you all know what he wants. He's not got an ulterior motive.

Bouphe: What kind of shark? Basking shark?
The Spiffing Brit: Basking shark!
Lewis: Like a great white.
Duncan: A mako shark.
Lewis: Or maybe a great black shark.
(beat as others react with interest)
Duncan: Progressive...
Lewis: It is 2019.
Rythian: Very progressive, yes!
