A montage of a commuter going to work from their apartment in a Layered Metropolis. The scene starts in the uppermost level, which is residential. The commuter hops on a bus at the end of his block, which takes him below to the business district. They pass through multiple layers, where the buildings are all lit with neon lights and local parks are lit by sunlight reflected down there with mirrors. The focus of the montage is more on the people going about their day and the architecture of the city and merely follows the path that the commuter takes to work.

The scene begins on a UFO. The UFO slowly descends to the purple ground. A small seed drops from the UFO and a plant is grown from the seed. The plant begins to spread its seeds on the ground, the cycle repeats until more UFOs come and plant even more seeds. The scene ends with a massive tree being grown from all the seeds.

Battle theme for an archmage driven to the brink of insanity by a combination of circumstance (lost his wife and all but one of his children to the world's (un)natural disasters), his own powers that he's struggling to contain, and fury misdirected at the heroes. He has the power to create small distortions in the fabric of space, which he uses to great effect during the battle. The heroes may yet be able to convince him to dedicate his powers to their cause, however - as long as they don't exert lethal force on him.

my current job
A cutscene in an 8-bit game where a friendly NPC powers up a music-playing scenic carousel. The moment is a jarring Art Shift from the halfway-between-Earthbound-and-Ducktales style you're used to to show off some 8-bit wallpaper made by the programmers that got put in the final product. Once the song ends, the scene is never mentioned again.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.
