Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

The following launches still need to be dealt with
- Furry Lens: Awful name, short launch.
- Sentient Stars: Unnecessary pluralization, but honestly I don't think it's worth the effort to de-pluralize it.
- Cool School: Effectively People Sit In Chairs for "school," at least in examples.
- Sci-Fi Flyby: "In a work with spaceships, at some point, there will be a shot of spaceships." You don't say?
- The tropes from Toxic Holy Grenade's launch spree were never discussed:
- Friendship as Courtship: Sorta iffy since it's just Relationship Upgrade but with a proposal (except for the examples that don't have a proposal).
- Disgruntled Chef: That's definitely two very different tropes in one.
- All Canadian Police Are Mounties: This seems fine.
- Jerk-to-Nice-Guy Plot: Is this not just "Took a Level in Kindness" but reframing it as a plot?

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Sentient Stars does not have that many wicks. A rename could easily be done.
Sci-Fi Flyby: See, I think this is a kind of "Establishing Setting Moment" so it could be a trope.
All X Are Y type trope names are usually a bad idea. The underlying trope is also often suspect. So unlaunch. Ditto for Cool School.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI can get behind unlaunching the mentioned snowclones.
Totally neutral about Sentient Stars. I don't see an issue with the name. It's plural. If you want to not-pluralize it we have markup for that... This wasn't an issue in the TLP draft stage...? Or is this a policy thing I'm forgetting about?
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettySee, if the trope was about that, then it might work. But it's not. The page explicitly says it can happen any time for any reason. It's just "there is an exterior shot of the ship." At the beginning? At the end? During action? During a lull in the action? All these are explicitly covered by the trope.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.ComicBook.Sonic Adventures is another stub.
It does have tropes, but most of them are commented out as zero-context examples.
It looks to have been abandoned by the troper who created it in 2013, and then the last salient edit from anyone adding anything was in 2015. After that, the only edit was commenting out the ZC Es in 2017. There's only two non-Administrivia wicksnote and 33 inbounds. Given all of that, I think it might be safe to say nobody cares enough to fix that page. I vote to cut it.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyPercy Mc Murphy has no tropes or work links - sent stub notifier
YMMV.Vera Cruz has only one entry and it is n uncited Unfortunate Implications
Analysis. The Force Awakens is another misplaced edit

Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need SummarySci Fi Fly By: I say kick it back to TLP and see if anything can be done with it. As it stands, it's "This happens", which isn't a trope.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettFrog Men. Characters are anthropomorphic frogs.
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!King Dragon Canon was launched in August 11 with ony a description. From what I've seen it's simply based off a buncha skits in Pro ZD's videos, so I'm not sure how to approach this. Creator messaged.
Cutlist it, because aside from being a stub it's also in the wrong place.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLiterature.Horror Within and its myriad of subpages exist and the subpages are entirely stubs for a work that may not exist. Nearly every example is really poorly done. The name's so generic I can't google it, and there's no indication of where it's from.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The article was created by ~Natasha_Chameli over a year ago, and is of very poor quality. Given that it's in the Literature namespace, but the graphics look like they came out of an 8-bit video game and/or a hand-drawn webcomic, I find the whole thing very suspicious.
Google search has our article as the top hit, another red flag.
The article has no wicks other than within its own subpages, and is indexed in Troper Works.
All in all, it looks like a personal writing project that has not been published and should thus go in Unpublished Works.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Google searched for ""horror within" book "natasha Chameli"" and found only TV Tropes pages (and even the character portraits look to be from TV Tropes). I think we can confirm that it's unpublished.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyTimeline.Sponge Bob Square Pants, Timeline. The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time and Timeline.Sonic Mania were recently created pages that don't look like what Timeline/ pages are for
Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need SummaryRolling with the Ronks! is a recently created stub. I've messaged the creator, there's hope it should move beyond "work in progress".
The Darkest Dawn is a stub work article. It has only 2 examples, and almost all of the description is copied from another source (although the source is cited).
I sent the creator a stub notifier.
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.I've expanded The Darkest Dawn's description and added a few more tropes. I was under the impression work pages were a free launch (as long as they are real) though?
They still need to follow the other standards for main articles, meaning that they can't be stubs and they need a trope list, etc.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyGonna bring up some suspicious launches, from ~KZN 02 — Testing Range Mishap and Practice Target Overkill. They didn't spend very long in TLP, seem oddly similar, not much like tropes, and possibly agenda-y. Take a look?
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Found Worst Muse which rather than write out any examples, has quotes used for all of the examples. With the creator of the page even adding this to the page:
NOTE: Since most examples are just Discussed Tropes, rather than actually used, those examples will use quotes directly from the Twitter feed.
I'm fairly certain this isn't aloud, since as far as I'm aware (with the exception of some dialogue tropes) using quotes for examples counts as Zero Context Examples.
That's one of those things that's questionable as to whether it qualifies for a wiki article.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well, I waited the 3 days and 5 hats for those YKTT Ws before launching. I do admit they are similar, but Practice Target Overkill doesn't necessarily require a Testing Range Mishap since it can also occur in shooting competitions.
So what do you mean by "agenda-y"?

With a "0", not an "O".
Mettle And Match looks like a project of ~storybooksarah's and ~Silversong 21's. I've seen some D&D campaigns posted on YouTube, so my vote (of keeping or cutting the content completely) depends on whether the campaign is publically viewable. If we're voting.
