The last He-Man reboot didn’t last long enough to introduce She-Ra. Wonder if this one has any plans to use He-Man (IIRC he showed up in several episodes of the original after her debut, plus that insane Christmas special).
I Really Really REALLY hope the Captain Underpants cartoon is better than the Kung Fu Panda one.

And I really like Trollhunters, so I'm hoping the two follow-up series are good. The other thing I'm hoping about is that the first two parts of Trollhunters (because apparently Part 1 was actually both Parts 1 and 2 because Netflix gets weird with numbering seasons of animated shows) got through enough of the annoying high-school cliches that the other shows won't bother with them as much.

Not Three Laws compliant. The Boss Baby is nominated for Best Animated Feature.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. Also fun fact: the 5 animated feature nominees are the exact same as the ones for the Golden Globes! -_-
If they really needed to pick a DWA film to fill the slot, surely they couldn't had gone for Captain Underpants instead? But I guess they skipped over it because Boss Baby was seen by more people/made more money. (Though it helps Fox/DWA released the film against Wonder Woman..... At least it was able to make its money back due to being made on a lower-than-usual budget.)
has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeSo...anyone remember Oriental DreamWorks? Yeah, some things about it...
China Media Capital has taken full control of it and is renaming it Pearl Studio.
Everest is still coming 2019, but I guess everything else after that will not be associated with DreamWorks Animation.
One such movie is Over the Moon, a modern retelling of a Chinese myth as directed by fromer Disney animator Glen Keane and is releasing in Chinese theaters and Netflix everywhere else in 2020.
GLEN KEANE!? I must see that!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Sorry to necro this thread after two months, but here is some surprising news from DreamWorks.
For context, Dream Works is making two shows that will premere this year, not on Netflix, but rather on Amazon Prime.

"You can run, but you can't hide from the Buzzinator!"Specifically, those 2 shows will be:
- The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle: This take on Rocky and Bullwinkle is probably going to be really significant since (if I'm not mistaken) it'll be the first time Rocky isn't voiced by June Foray, who tragically passed on last year. Instead, we're getting Tara Strong as Rocky. Meanwhile, we'll be hearing Brad Norman as Bullwinkle, Piotr Michael as Fearless Leader, Ben Diskin as Boris Badenov and Rachel Butera as Natasha Fatale, and Daran Norris as the Narrator. Behind the scenes, the show's getting executive produced by Scott Fellows and Tiffany Ward, Jay Ward's daughter. Expect it to appear on Prime Video May 11 in the U.S., UK, Germany, India, and Japan.
In the meantime, have a trailer:
- Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny: 4 panda kids from Panda Village find themselves absorbing the chi of ancient warriors and must save the day from a coming evil. Their teacher? The Dragon Warrior himself, Po. This is coming from Emmy-winning All Hail King Julien executive producers Mitch Watson and Elliott Owen, and Lane Lueras (The Adventures of Puss in Boots). Release date TBD.
Yeah, I think these were leaked from that one blog post a few months ago. Nice to see some actual confirmation and new information, though. I didn't even expect a trailer for the former!
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).The Kung Fu Panda one sounds cute.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532The new Rocky & Bullwinkle doesn't look bad. Tara has some serious shoes to fill (it's pretty much another Alan Young->David Tennant situation again), but her voice for Rocky sounds pretty good from what we've heard of it so far. The VAs for the other three (Bullwinkle and Boris and Natasha) sound good, too.
Here's hoping this reboot can hold a candle to the original. Looks good so far, but I hope it has at least a little bit of that spark.
"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."Many people have always said Tara is the new June Foray... now she truly must prove it.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I am wondering when the next DW film is coming.
How To Train Your Dragon 3 is coming out sometime next year.
New Rocky And Bullwinkle Show: I'm interested. I recently binge watched the Fractured Fairy Tales and Aesop's Fables segments on Youtube, finding a lot of them actually really fun. I tried to watch the Rocky and Bullwinkle Segments, but I found them kind of meh (a long with the Peabody and Mr. Sherman, and Dudley Doo Right Segments). This new show though has a lot of promise, though. Especially with Tara Strong as Rocky.
New Kung Fu Panda Show: I'm all in, even if the premise does remind me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which I'm not particularly fond of.

It appears we're also getting a new Where's Waldo/Wally TV show as well.
It looks like it's going to be an educational show starring a kid Wally/Waldo and a female Odlaw (who I'm expecting to be just an Expy of him). Looks promising, though setting the show in real world locations is a little disappointing because that'll mean little presence of the insane settings the books (and the older show) are famous for, if you ask me.
"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."A few days back, DreamWorks announced its plans for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Specifically:
- Attendees are getting a behind-the-scenes look at the third How to Train Your Dragon movie, now being officially called How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
- DreamWorks will also host a fully-remastered screening of its traditionally-animated film, The Prince of Egypt, in honor of that movie's 20th anniversary.
- Speaking of traditionally animated, DreamWorks will also screen the first 2 shorts in its Shorts Program. They are:
- Bird Karma: A 2D-animated (yes, really◊) short in which a long-legged bird has shenanigans happen from his actions.
- Bilby: A CG-animated short in which a bilby finds itself the caretaker of a baby bird.◊

Oh look. Dreamworks remembers The Prince Of Egypt exists. -_-
Does anyone know if the He-Man reboot is going to be C.G or animated?
Still want a Road to El Dorado series, maybe on Netflix.

Yeah, you'd think they'd put one out for the movie's 20th anniversary.
Well, the year isn't over yet, though, so maybe we'll get it later?
