Tommy: Polymers were a bit of a specialty of mine back in college. One of my earliest experiments back when we did teacher's aide stuff in high school was how to teach preschoolers how to make slime out of glue. Good times. I got the idea of making a synthetic polymer similar to spinarak silk shortly after I called the cops on the people abusing Tobi and his buddies. Good idea, evil concept. Synthetic was the way to go. And, of course, it kinda made sense to shoot them out of a spinneret.
Beat.
Tommy: The parallels to that one comic are just an uncanny coincidence. Though I've been told that I look like Parker Netherlands, or Toby McSquire from [Pleasantville]. Or Andrew Garfield.

Shutter: We can have those bran muffins to go and head for the memorial and the museum, and maybe even visit the marine park my paternal grandfather works.
Ryan: Sounds like a plan.
Shutter: You and gramps can probably get lost in conversation. He's also a marine biologist.
Ryan: I thought you said he was a chocolatier?
Shutter: He was until he retired and took up a doctorate because he was bored.

Felicia has been following Tommy for some time now; They've recently made a habit of doing this as a precaution against psychics.

I've been blocking them out; every time the Alakazam tries to force something out of your head, the only thing I make them read are those stupid little thoughts from your breakup with Jane Stacy. I'd be more worried about that hydreigon flying overhead.>

Tommy: You mean Night Mankey? Haven't really heard of them much. They made a passing reference to them in some Parker Netherlands movie. They're more of a [Czech Republic] fixture, though. Nobody seemed to have questioned why Arachna-Guy started appearing in Kalos, though, but for a time I thought one of my friends reached a logical if awkward conclusion why he seemed to show up when I did.
He started to mix some of the chemicals following Des' formula, then started adding random items. By now he has worn a coat and protective goggles, and has left a set for Des to wear. He does look the part of a scientist now.
Tommy: It'd be pretty weird to have one of those snarky deconstructive meta fellas tailing me around though. Funny, but really weird.

Tommy: That depends. They released that comic and it was awesome. (Though not as awesome as Noivernman/Uberman: Public Menace). But besides the Miracle Cinematic Universe, superheroes have been a hit or miss. I mean, have you seen how people responded to Crobatman v. Awesomeguy? There hasn't been a good Awesomeguy in live action until the cameo'd in Awesome-Lass. Warner and Disney wouldn't dare attempt at making a crossover like that at this point, too, but wouldn't it be awesome if they did?
Shinji: <He is a massive nerd. He stopped wearing glasses and has an 8-pack, but leave him in a comic book and he'll argue to Ultra Space and back on why Noivernman: TAS was the definitive version. Which is stretching it, if anyone is listening.>
Tommy: Shinji, I heard that. Oh, yeah. Did I mention that I took pokémon language classes in college?
Shinji: <It was good, but it wasn't that good. At least compared to the [Dark Knight]. Best Mr. Mime ever.>

Fuka covers her eyes as the Thunder Fang bites into Gyari. The attack hurts, but Gyari grits his teeth and endures it.
Fuka: Gyari! Dragon Dance into an Aqua Tail!
Gyari starts headbanging with increasing tempo, ending in swinging its head to one side and using the momentum to bring its tail flying towards Smith.
Fuka is headbanging behind Gyari.

He gives Shinji a headscritch.
"And honestly, maybe you shouldn't spend so much time in front of a screen. Go explore nature every once in a while. It's good for you."

"I used to be with them. I still help out from time to time. And just Sparkers is fine. I don't really have last name."

The Aqua Tail's power was cut in half back to base power. The Houndoom tanked the hit. It hurt but the pupper endured.

If we do that stuff too often the amount and strength of the guards increases until the point where we'll be forced to escape, or get overwhelmed and captured or killed. Even security measures like traps and mechanisms can be affected by the security level.

Ghidorah let out a menacing laugh and swooped low, letting out a loud roar, before spitting bolts of lightning from his many mouths, hoping to incite panic and a riot, giving Delta enough room to get at Tommy.
It was at this point that Tommy would be able to see Delta, above on a rooftop, tossing a knife idly in hand, staring directly at him.

Meanwhile, across town, a pink-haired man and what appeared to be his blond little brother begin walking, a white herdier sniffing the ground leading them. On the boy's shoulders is a ditto, which immediately warps into an oddly colored spinarak What appears to woman is walking beside them.
Thierry: Stay close and don't call any attention to yourself. Thomas is not in a good position right now.
Tobi: We've got to help him.
Thierry: And we can do that by not calling attention to ourselves and giving his pursuers a hostage. We should instead call the CCPD to move civilians out of the way.
Tobi: But what about Officer Jeff?
Thierry: He will be doing his duty to protect and serve. Do we have to go through this again? If a supervillain does something bad, it is not your fault. This feeling you have, it's natural. Seriously, do arthropods behave that much differently from humans?
