One page, which contains only the words, "waka waka" repeated over and over again.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. It combines the "plotlines" of all the Pac-Man games into a semi-coherent whole simply to have enough characters to fill out to novel length. Clyde undergoes a Heel–Face Turn towards the end, but Redemption Equals Death. The book sells well to nostalgic baby boomers, but the modern kids the book is actually aimed at find it boring and overlong.
(By the by, I vastly prefer the responses that show the poster actually put some effort into research, rather than just variations on "it's really bad".)

His drawing style seems to have deteriorated and makes the manga unreadable. The dialogue doesn't make it any better...

Why is it that I always get the worst answers when playing this game? It's Total War, not Dawn Of War!

Teletubbies: The Anime.
edited 10th Jun '12 8:53:51 AM by PhysicalStamina
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. The resulting anime is...much more insane than the original show ever was. Fans are in an uproar about it, and the addition of some new characters doesn't help one bit. Somehow, despite (or perhaps because of) the controversy, a second season is greenlighted.
Persona 3: The board game.
Minato is the only character who isn't a persona,Orpheus Telos is cast as one of the shadows, Nyx is replaced with Erebus, the rules are too complicated making it impossible to win at all and the game board sloppily combines all the dungeons from the game.
Lord of the Flies: The Anime.
Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality.Suprisingly, it was a relatively faithful, if not Mind Screwy, adaptation of the series. However, they changed the story to a group of Japanese children and teenagers being stranded on an island (though for simplicity's sake, we'll refer to the characters with their English names).
Command And Conquer:Total War. PLEASE READ THE GODDAMN ARTICLES BEFORE YOU MAKE THIS!
Relax, I am at least familiar with Total war
The adaptation was lacking in the amount of factions, which lead many to believe that the Total War factions could be more balanced. Because what kind of bollocks is using the best spear-man army against the best cavalry army in multiplayer. However this would prove wrong and was found to be too far out of nature for the Total War series, mainly because fans find that charging people into melee is really fun.
Mortal Kombat: The Musical
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."The live-action movie with song and dance numbers.
Disaster Movie: The Visual Novel.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.[sits in corner for doing it wrong yet again]
It's a mash-up of clips cobbled together from other V Ns, not one of which has anything to do with disasters or movies.
The Love Guru: A Leisure Suit Larry Film.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!Pretty much a Dolled-Up Installment of Love Guru with LSL characters.
Tim And Eric: The Game.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. The game, based on Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job, is a Nintendo Hard text based game. a large part of the difficulty comes from the fact that 90% of the diolouge is just plain word salad. However, the Robin Williams cameo was pretty well received.
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory: the slasher movie.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoWilly Wonka brings five kids into his chocolate factory, and one by one picks them off based off their weaknesses, except for good little Charlie Bucket, who tragically becomes the slasher monster after defeating Wonka. All in all, like the books, but bloodier and grittier.
The Binding of Isaac, the Saturday morning cartoon show
I now go by Graf von Tirol. The film takes place 15 years after Willy Wonka's factory was foreclosed. The loneliness and despair has driven him criminally insane. Johnny Depp stars as Willy Wonka who is now a serial killer.
K-On, by M Night Unspellablename. You know the guy.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. The plot is incomprehensible, the dialouge is laughable and the story is filled to the brim with Shocking Swerves.

Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 Smash...you do know this thread is about horrible adaptations? there's no way that could be bad!.... Although as this is Joss Whedon we are talking about, he'd probably kill off every character people like.
(If that counts as an answer):as a gangster movie starring the mods of this wiki.

He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoThe Godfather with idioms every minute of the film. Duh.
Steven Hillenberg's Scribblenauts: The Nick show based on what i just said. It uses the same animation for the artwork of Scribblenauts games and Maxwell, well (<lol), he is played again, by Tom Kenny, who played the Sponge, Toonish Iron Regular Guy (Super Hero Squad), Cottontail's son, and if so, Jake Spidermonkey. HE SOUNDS LIKE SPONGEBOB.
"The Horn of Protection is here for you, Timmy!" - Hank the Super Cheese Loving Rhino Guard from Fairly Odd ParentsThe show is whored out like Spongebob was and callously cancelled when it stopped making money. The animation is cheap, the writers are lazy, the characters are idiots and they are similar to the Characters from Spongebob, Family Guy and Robot Chicken.
Tetris:The Torture/ Sex Tape.

Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality.People everywhere hate the film for being so Sick and Wrong. It ends up becoming a Shock Site.
It's shot entirely in black and white, the special effects are toned way down, and the story is rewritten to make conventional sense. Most displeasing to the fans, however, is that a new male character is inserted to be the actual hero of the story, shoving even BRS to the side.
Indy 500, the Bollywood movie. Please at least show a little effort. Thanks in advance.
The acting is actrocious, the special effects are cheap, the focus is taken away from the racing in favour of a Indiana Jones plot and worst of all ,the Go compare guy makes a guest appearance as the main villian, complete with an annoying musical number.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Pretty much the only adaptation that's universally considered better than the original. It still sucks though.
Minecraft: the movie.
The result manages to be more clever than it should be... for about half of its supposed runtime. Then it gets canceled for no adequate reason.
Pacman: the novelization.
