That's a slight quantity of win right there, too.
Also, not funny, talking about Austrians and basements.

the statement above is falseNo, I'm talking more recent.
the statement above is falseLet's not talk about that here.

As VB pointed out, I didn't come up with it, I quoted it. We live in a postmodern culture of intertextual references.
the statement above is falseTechnically, shouldn't it be a postmodern cultures?
Mathematics Is A Language. The troper tales thread. It starts here with a comment by C Trombley, continues for several posts before culminating in Bobby G's Seussical rant here.
I didn't write any of that.Nornagest's comment here.
Might want to read the comments above it for context.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon. How the posting of extremely long blocks of text got the Flip Out Room thread killed.
The link doesn't exist anymore. How convenient; I don't have to dig for it.
I think that was rather tragic. Even though I wasn't really an active participant in that thread, it was nice to have somewhere to be random and blow off steam, and I rather liked that we had a stickied thread for people to yell the f-word. I found the concept delightfully absurd.
Edit: And wow, thank you Meta! I'm flattered.

Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffWell, I saw it as an absolutely meaningless thread, because most people were effectively doing postcount++ and using it as an excuse to f-carpet-bomb the page.
Oh well. Difference in opinion.
Now, on the other hand, the text paste bombs were rather funny due to their absurd length.

I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.Furiko Maru's first response to this topic says more about anime in fewer words than anyone ever could. [1]
Describes this place perfectly.
( In the defense of the German hikkikomori, I do have to say that he was most likely kidding about the armageddon thingy.
And he might actually be Austrian?)
