• Fan Fic Fuel: For fans of Disney Television Animation, it’s fun to imagine characters like Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Della Duck, Suga Mama, Camila Noceda, and others interacting with Marge and the other Disney moms, since those properties are usually left out in these shorts, disregarding Bill Cipher appearing in an episode of the main show.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: While it's understandable given the lack of children as main characters, Futurama was not among any of the Hulu characters shown in the end, especially since the show was recently revived and now streams exclusively on Hulu. That said, the main leads Fry, Leela, and technically Bender do have mothers (though in Bender’s case he was built by Mom's Friendly Robot Company) but their absence still stands.
• Unexpected Character:
  • The Heeler family are among those present in the short, despite Disney not owning the rights to Bluey, only distribution outside Australia and New Zealand.
  • Characters from Family Guy, King of the Hill, and Bob's Burgers show up in the end, with Seth MacFarlane reprising his role as Stewie Griffin.
• Unintentional Uncanny Valley: Many have criticized the way a majority of the Disney and Pixar characters look, with their designs being lifted wholesale rather than being drawn to fit with The Simpsons' artstyle aside from the lips (something the other shorts would do, for better or worse). As a result, all look like rather poorly traced knock-offs with soulless blank stares, akin to a Dingo Pictures cartoon. Some have negatively compared them to a DeviantArt drawing than something put out by a professional animation studio. This is only intensified when others, like the Heelers, the Hulu families or Lady Tremaine lack even those characteristics and are wholly copied from the source.
