• Ass Pull: Johnny being revived by Kate's kiss.
• Awesome Music: For a comedy film, the score by Ilan Eshkeri is amazing.
• Crossing the Line Twice: Johnny attacking Pegasus' mother after mistaking her for an assassin twice shouldn't be nearly as funny as it is. Its even worse the second time around, with Johnny tackling the elderly lady to the floor and repeatedly whacking her on the head with a serving tray in front of her terrified grandchildren. And then he does the same thing to the Queen of England.
• Even Better Sequel: Many viewers found Johnny's Character Development from a bumbling idiot to only mostly a bumbling idiot to make for a much more interesting protagonist.
• Replacement Scrappy: In the eyes of many fans, Tucker couldn't live up to Bough from the first film in terms of humor, competence or interesting interactions with Johnny.
• Retroactive Recognition:
  • Tucker is played by Daniel Kaluuya of Get Out (2017).
  • The Chinese Premier is Wong.
• Tear Jerker: Johnny's temporary death. Even Pegasus is sad.
