YMMV / Fast & Furious 6

  • Ass Pull: The explanation for how Letty survived the explosion doesn't entirely make sense. Braga tells Brian that they mistook another corpse for hers, but that doesn't explain how they failed to verify the identity of the corpse, where the corpse came from, or how Letty ended up in the hospital without anyone connecting the dots between her and the wrecked car.
  • He's Just Hiding: Gisele's death could have been survivable, and her body isn't shown afterward, so a large number of fans hold out hope that she'll eventually return, especially in a series that has brought back so many presumably dead characters. Sure enough, she eventually returned to the franchise at the end of the tenth film.
  • Memetic Mutation: Jah's quote "Hantam mereka" (roughly translatable as "Hit them (with your car)" or "Do them in") became a meme among Indonesian audiences.
  • Narm:
    • Some stunts are hilariously over the top, even for this franchise. It's hard to hold laughter when Dom crashes his car on the one side of the bridge so he can propel himself into the air to catch Letty, who just fell from the tank that flipped over. Not only Dom grabs Letty in mid-air but manages to change her trajectory so they both land on some car that just happened to be there. Of course neither of them are hurt.
    • The airport at the end. Just how long has the damn landing track to be to allow for such a long battle while the plane takes off? Why would the plane need such a long takeoff run, anyway?
    • Apparently the movie's crew had no faith in us being able to put together the whole Evil Counterpart thing without Roman laboriously pointing it out one by one (though to be fair, some of the counterparts weren't as obvious as they might look).
    • This scene is incredibly awkward in innumerable ways, and the way the actors don't even seem to be looking at each other and seemingly change size from shot to shot has given rise to the theory that due to the feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, the two refused to even be in the same scene together, leading to some very poorly-shot Forced Perspective to complete the scene (Justin Lin denies this, claiming that the weird perspective was a result of the uneven ground at the property combined with lens distortion).
  • One-Scene Wonder: Jason Statham's cameo at the end.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • Gisele's death in the climax, and the Man Hug Brian gives to Han immediately afterwards.
    • Han and Gisele's relationship throughout the whole movie. The plans they make for the future are hard to watch as the audience already knows they are Doomed by Canon and will never live their dream.
