• Cult Classic: While it never gained any mainstream attention after its run, the show has still managed to gain a (albeit almost nonexistent) following.
• Common Knowledge: It's not a Muppet production, despite its similarity to Sesame Street (with a dash of Fraggle Rock to boot), not to mention Pam "Grungetta" Arciero performing Quagmire and Brian "Barkley" Muehl doing Bogge and Mr. Knack. Also, one of the scriptwriters for the series was Louise Gikow, who penned a number of Muppet Babies (1984) and Fraggle children's books and had been a writer for Muppet Magazine as well; she also co-created Johnny and the Sprites with current-generation Muppet performer John Tartaglia.
• Retroactive Recognition: Magellan's puppeteer/voice actor, Noel MacNeal, would go on to be Bear's puppeteer/VA, as well as Leon's in The Puzzle Place.
