- Americans Hate Tingle: Among every country who viewed the park as a joke when it first opened, Disneyland Paris was most hated among the French, the people whose country it was built in, due to them perceiving it as an invasion of their culture from an American company who had a reputation for misrepresenting cultures. It's not as bad in present day, but the backlash from French people when the park first opened was enormous.
- Vindicated by History: When the park first opened in 1992 as Euro Disney, nobody took it seriously due to its Troubled Production and all of the circumstances of it being built outside of a culturally significant city such as Paris, with many calling it one of Michael Eisner's biggest blunders and the native French population overall hating it. After three years of touch-ups, however, it became much more refined than it was on opening, and is now considered one of the most impressive and engaging Disney parks, with even the French having come around to it. Its reputation especially skyrocketed in The New '20s after Walt Disney World and California's Disneyland were accused of having been watered down, with Disneyland Paris still being kept pristine.
- Unexpected Character:
- The FanDaze is jam-packed with characters from films that Disney barely gives attention to, including ones from The Emperor's New Groove, The Aristocats, and Bolt.
- Nobody expected the title character from Who Framed Roger Rabbit to show up, as Amblin typically prevents Disney from doing anything Roger Rabbit related.
