Zylbrad (real name: Bradley, no surname known) is an Australian YouTuber who specializes in Overwatch and Counter-Strike gameplay videos. He has also made videos featuring Fortnite, Sea of Thieves, and Apex Legends. He usually plays with his friends Todd (ToddyQuest), Alyssa (Miltia), Winky, and the American Typho (TaptainCypho), but his videos have also featured his father (Zyldad) and a few others. The videos themselves feature plenty of shenanigans by Brad and his numerous friends, with the man himself rarely going a video solo.Needs Wiki Magic Love

Zylbrad provides examples of:

  • Bait-and-Switch: The ending of "A Golden Journey". The video is about Bradley getting the last few credits needed for a golden weapon, and the video implies that he'll get a golden Bastion gun. Nope, golden Hanzo bow
    • At the end of "The Golden Point and Click Adventure, He goes into Genji's menu, almost doing what he did last time. He got the Bastion gun.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Do not dare suggest that there is no such thing as a good Bastion. As a Bastion Main, Brad takes this quite personally.
  • Big "NO!": Zylbrad is a loud enough person as he stands, it is to be expected that he deliver these in great numbers when things go horribly wrong.
  • Butt-Monkey: This doesn't apply to himself, but he has made it so for Muselk in some of his earlier videos of Overwatch, usually by thwarting his strategies and knocking off the basketball in control maps.
  • Catchphrase:
    • "AWW YEAH!" This is usually shouted when he is playing Lucio.
    • "I need healing. ANGELA!" Due to Genji's memetic status as a whiner who repeatedly screams for heals, Brad echos this while playing said character.
    • Advertisement:
    • "M'lady." Brad has taken to saying this in conjunction with Mccree's "Hat Tip" emote, though this has now extended to real life encounters.
  • Couch Gag: For a while now, the ending of each video has the music from the Overwatch map Ilios playing in the background, but with each video that goes by, the music plays faster and faster.
  • Fun with Subtitles: Whenever someone calls Winston a monkey or scientist, any subtitles on screen will say "Scientist" when someone says "Monkey", and vice-versa.
  • Gratuitous Japanese: Discussed in one video after Zylbrad says "I'll desu you so hard", then finding out that desu means "is" or "are"
  • Jerkass: Some of Brad's actions and antics are considered quite harsh, some seemingly born from malice when he takes his trolling too far.
    • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: His interactions with some of his friends however suggest he truly cares about them, especially Tyrodin and Shenpai, the latter eventually becoming his girlfriend.
      • Jerk With A Heart Of Jerk: ...however, after their break-up due to Brad's ignorance, combined with revelations by Muselk that he was using his friends for views, it has become clear he is a jerk to the core.
      • now averted as Muselk has commented that, while there was an issue between them, it has been cleared up, and they are fine now, and the original comment was simply an overreaction on Muselks part.
  • Advertisement:
  • Nice Hat: During Muselk's vlog that revealed Zylbrad's face, he and Brad headed into town which lead to the latter finding a hat similar to Mccree's that he would use to personally "M'lady" people.
  • Keet: Downplayed when compared to Muselk, but Brad can be rather excitable.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Played straight and Subverted, practically all of Zylbrad's friends refer to him as Brad and variations thereupon, but regardless stick to his real name, but some of his friends arre only called by their aliases or variations of them. Examples: Miltia (pronounced Militia)'s real name is Alyssa, but she's never called that in the videos (sometimes she's even called, "Milly-T" after a rando they played a game with called her that), and Winky's and Typho's names haven't been given yet.
  • Troll: Oh maliciously so! Zylbrad delights in making his enemies and even his friends suffer, especially Muselk and BazzaGazza.
