Compact Youmu Konpaku in your Pocket is a YouTube channel which primarily publishes animations based on Touhou Project, most of which depict the residents of Gensokyo getting into outrageous situations. Needless to say, quite a few liberties are taken with the source material.

Tropes:
- A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Read: A variant occurs when Doremy looks into the mind of someone dreaming of her, only for his dreams of her to shift to being incredibly lewd.
- Adaptational Jerkass: While Okina is certainly one of the most morally dubious characters in Touhou, here she doesn't even care about Satono and Mai like her canon self does, tossing them aside once she gets bored of them.
- Adaptational Nationality: While in canon Touhou Remilia's ethnicity isn't stated other than her being European, and Yukari's ethnicity is entirely unknown, here they're both given British accents.
- Batman Gambit: In the "Scarlet Devil Mansion Library" miniseries, it turns out the reason Remilia opened up the Scarlet Devil Library to the public was for one of these in order to get Patchouli to go outside and stop being reclusive.
- Being Good Sucks: Kasen is the nicest of the Sages, but also the one who has to endure the most. In "The Sages go to a restaurant", after she insists on the Sages paying for the meal they just ate instead of dining and dashing, Yukari and Okina's response is to just leave her behind in the restaurant so she gets saddled with the bill.
- Butt-Monkey: Parsee is almost always a victim of misfortune whenever she shows up.
- Excrement Statement: In "Marisa has to pee really badly", when Daiyousei tells Marisa she can't pee in the forest Marisa's response is to fly up and pee on her instead.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Remilia is haughty and elitist, but she genuinely cares for Patchouli and her servants, and seems to respect Sakuya's loyalty to her.
- Jerkass Gods:
- Okina treats her backup dancers as disposable and routinely abducts new children from the outside world to replace them.
- Kanako is willing to sell her loyal followers' souls just to get a discount on a pizza order and a free side of breadsticks.
- Mean Boss: Chimata treats Shion, her only visible employee, like dirt and won't even give her the day off on Christmas.
- New Job as the Plot Demands: Shion seems to be the one who does all the minimum wage jobs in Gensokyo.
- Open-Minded Parent: Kanako is a much more lax Parental Substitute to Sanae than Suwako, who unlike her insists on Sanae adhering to the shrine maiden vow of chastity and other traditional rules.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Suika and Yuugi are able to hide the fact that they're oni when they go into the human village by putting the covers Kasen uses on their horns, even though their horns are much longer than Kasen's
- Pragmatic Villainy: In "Okina wants to kidnap children but Yukari won't let her", upon seeing that Okina is too much of a sociopath for appeals to morality to work, the way Yukari gets Okina to stop abducting children is to point out that if she keeps doing bad things, no one will want to worship her and she'll fade out from lack of faith.
- She Is Not My Girlfriend: Suwako gets annoyed when Kanako or anyone else calls her her "wife", and seems to dislike having to work with Kanako in general.
- The Stinger: Most videos have some sort of last-minute post-credits gag right before they end.
- Synthetic Voice Actor: All of the characters are voiced by an AI voice program.
- Toilet Humor: Guess where most of the humor in "Marisa has to pee really badly" comes from?
- Took a Level in Jerkass: When we first see Chimata, she's still a believer in market traditions and regrets how the whole Ability Card incident turned out. After Tsukasa introduces her to Jo'on however, the next time we see Chimata she's become a Corrupt Corporate Executive.
