Late Night City Tales is a game mod of Friday Night Funkin' by FrazeRIP.

It is a mod of the FNF game with horror elements set to have multiple chapters.

In the first chapter, Boyfriend and Girlfriend find a mansion inhabited by a strange girl who calls herself Limulady. However, she holds a dark secret. Will they make it out alive?

The mod is confirmed to be cancelled due to various reasons, and thus, this mod will not receive any more updates.

Song List:

Chapter 1 (Vs. Limu)

  1. Azure Encounter (Limu)
  2. Secret Marilee (Limu)
  3. Broken Heart (Girlfriend)
  4. Aquaphobia (Limu)

Bonus Songs

  1. Lonely Sapphire (Limu vs. Player)
  2. Tutorial Remix (Girlfriend)

Tropes:

  • Adaptational Intelligence: In the actual game, Girlfriend is a Fearless Fool, same as Boyfriend, who doesn't grasp the dangers the two of them get into. Here, she is instantly skeptical of Limu, and she is proven to be Properly Paranoid after being turned to stone.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Rather than being fearless fools like in canon, Boyfriend and Girlfriend show to be a bit unnerved in regards to the mansion. Girlfriend moreso, especially in regards to Limu.
  • Big Damn Heroes: At the end of Aquaphobia, Limu gets ready to kill Boyfriend and Girlfriend, only for Pico, Nene, and Darnell to arrive and shoot her.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Limu may seem sweet, but she petrifies Girlfriend and attempts to force Boyfriend to stay with her if he wants her to change Girlfriend back.
  • Humanoid Abomination: Limu is a humanoid creature of unknown species whose kind was slaughtered by humans. Given what powers she displays, there's definitely a reason for that.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: Limu expresses her desire for companionship of some kind. She starts to find one with Boyfriend, but then she gets greedy and tries to force him to stay with her forever.
  • Never My Fault: Limu doesn't seem to grasp that her own actions are why people view her in negative light.
  • Not Quite Dead: Limu survives getting shot by Pico, leading into the freeplay song "Lonely Sapphire".
  • Taken for Granite: Limu is capable of turning people into statues. Girlfriend ends up being one of her victims.
  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: "Lonely Sapphire" has Limu face the player directly. Even worse, beating the song results in a pop-up telling the player that they've freed Limu, and now she's coming for them, right befoer the game crashes.
  • The Power of Love: After Girlfriend is turned to stone, Boyfriend's love and singing changes her back.
  • Third-Person Person: Limu.
  • Yandere: Limu is quick to fall in love with Boyfriend. It gets to the point where she turns Girlfriend to stone so she could have Boyfriend to herself. Once it is clear that Boyfriend won't stay, Limu expresses intent on turning him to stone along with Girlfriend.
  • Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe: Limu talks in a mix of this and a Funetik Aksent.
