- “Are heroes forged in suffering? Is that which you call an identity forged in hate? When the time comes to face the vast emptiness of the universe, what will it take to fill the void?”
Gender: guy.
Pronouns: he/they (see pet peeves)
I’m a teenage (minor) boy from Ireland.
I enjoy books, D&D and role playing.
If I’m hurting you in any way, please make certain to tell me ASAP.
Pet peeves: people using “he/she” or “(s)he” as a pronoun for characters with unclear genders rather then they and its variants thereof.
It’s genderist and eats valuable seconds of time. applies double when they go “he/she/it” [sic] or otherwise pretend the they/them/theirs set of pronouns doesn’t exist.
Also the bandwagon fallacy, just because lots of people are doing something doesn’t mean its a good idea, and this kind of thing can become seriously dangerous to peoples mental health.
Helldivers 2 timeline mock-up
- February 8th(08/02): Helldivers 2 releases, set 100 years after the end of Helldivers 1, from here on out in-universe time progresses 25%. Faster then out, with us using the real world(in-universe) format.
The Terminids claim the Orion Sector, thereby exposing their fascist natures, meanwhile, on the other side of the galaxy, skirmishes begin with the non-sentient Automaton forces, thereby starting the 2nd Galactic War. - February 27th(02/03): Malevelon Creek falls to Automaton control, with millions of Helldivers lost. Over the coming weeks, “Creek Crawlers” emerge, Helldivers devoted to avenging the losses of undeniably sentient Helldivers at the hands of the non-sentient Automatons, who launch ceaseless assaults on Malevelon to little avail.
- February 29th(05/03): Fascist Terminid hive discovered to have been hidden underneath Veld, threatening to burst out and engulf the entire planet. Helldivers begin to counterattack against the Terminid scum.
- March 1st(06/03): Helldivers successfully destroy Veld hive, bringing the world back under the control of Managed Democracy. SEAF forces backed by spare Helldivers continue the fight to mop up the remnants.
- March 7th(14/03): Automatons capture Tien Kwan. Super Earth launches an offensive in the name of retaking Tein Kwan before the Automatons find their exosuit project, fearful of what it could accomplish in socialist hands.
- March 8th(15/03): Super Earth forces successfully pump Liberty-Tea down fabricators exhaust, reclaiming the planet from the non-sentient Automatons. EXO-45 Patriot Exosuits bring their rocket launchers and heavy machine guns to bear against the enemies of Democracy across the galaxy.
- March 9th-10th(16-8/03): Due to server issues, no progress was made by any side in the 2nd Galactic War. Fortunately, this did not stop Helldivers from delivering red-hot Democracy to fascists or socialists, merely delay the inevitable victory of Managed Democracy.
- March 12th(20/03): New chemical named Termincide brought to the forefront. Capable of exterminating Terminids while leaving all other life unharmed, the Terminid Control System (TCS) a network of massive towers that spray Termincide into the atmosphere is put under construction. Risks of Termincide creating a new strain of Terminid are deemed low as Super Earth only created a single caste while trying to domesticate them and that was by accident anyway.
- March 16th(25/03): TCS successfully installed all along the Umlaut sector.
- March 17th(26/03): Rumours and conspiracy theories begin circulating about flying Terminids called “Shriekers”, with some even blaming the Termincide for their emergence. Such unDemocratic nonsense is swiftly silenced by Super Earth.
- March 21st(31/03): security breach in galactic war tables fixed and guilty parties executed. Super Earth admits to the realness of Shriekers but blames dissident collaboration rather then Termincide.
- March 26th(06/04): Super Earths usage of “Unpleasant Sensory Experience Simulations” on captured non-sentient Automatons reveals that they are planning a new offensive called “The Reclamation”. Little is known of The Reclamation, save that it is an invasion of unprecedented scale. Faced with this looming threat, Super Earth launches OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY, planning to completely eradicate the non-sentient socialist Automatons, leaving only definitely-sentient Democratic humans.
As phase 1 of OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY, the SEAFs begin an assault on Troost, hoping to capture the Automatons deep-space communications array to disorganise them and learn of their plans. - March 28th(09/04): As part of OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY, the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon and MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun are added to Super Earths arsenal.
- March 29th(10/04): Super Earth forces liberate Troost, Automatons are discovered to have been broadcasting outside the known galaxy and communicating with an unknown threat as well as to have begun production of aerial gunships, spurring Super Earth to begin creation of anti-air weaponry.
OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY reaches phase 2; with Super Earth identifying Tibit as the main source of Automaton production and targeting their assault on it just as the Automatons launch their own counterattack against humanity.
- April 1st(14/04): Automaton counterattack forces Super Earth to call off their assault on Tibit and declare OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY to have failed phase 2.
Examining the lines of battle, the Top Brass identify poor morale and misplaced troops as the largest contributors to their failure and decide on a fix: liberate Malevelon Creek.
Later that day, Malevelon Creek falls.
OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY then enters phase 3; Hold the Line and blunt the Automaton assault. - April 2nd(15/04): Gunships hit the frontlines, being deployed against Ubanae and Malevelon Creek without overwhelming success.
- April 3rd(16/04): Malevelon Creek Memorial Day.
- April 4th(18/04): OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY completes phase 3 as intel confirms that the Automatons have run out of resources.
OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY reaches phase 4: annihilation as Super Earth begins an all-out assault to destroy the Automaton legion. - April 7th(21/04): OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY successfully wipes out the non-sentient Automatons and victory Parties begin across Super Earth.
….
New, larger Automaton fleet drops out of FTL and begins The Reclamation, taking over 4 sectors and capturing Cyberstan, where their Cyborg masters are held. Previous fleet discovered to have merely been their vanguards.
Works I like: Eberron, Dragonlance, SCP Foundation, The Order of the Stick, anything Riordan.

- Card-Carrying Villain: a soldier in TV Tropes army of darkness, looking to rise up the ranks…
- Madness Mantra: when upset i tend to type a singular, random phrase endlessly and rapidly or repeat it in my mind to try and calm down. Sometimes i make this into a game where i “win” by having both calmed down and successfully filled a line with rapidly-typed instances of a singular word or phrase devoid of spellling errors.
- Orcus on His Throne: rarely do i do things, but that has never made me less of a threat to the blank pages of TV Tropes.
- Revisting The Roots: Recently happened with me and Armour Games. It was brilliant! (BTW, did you know that Armour Games has a fund 4 humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine?)
- Insane Troll Logic: Inverted Trope as i would never, ever engage in logical fallacies or fail too carefully consider if my actions make sense.
